  1. No, no usage that I can think of whatsoever, unless it's for incoming calls? Lazada call when they deliver something, but I don't always answer. Besides, the 2 top ups yesterday were within minutes of each other, yet 5 odd baht disappeared somewhere. Then overnight too another disappearing amount. Yes, probably have to call them, or visit their shop. On a side note, I cannot seem to buy validity through the app, hence why I do the top ups, but could I do that in the shop too? Might make my life a bit easier.
  2. I top up my True number by 50 baht at a time, which then extends my number's validity by another month (or 30 days). Yesterday I had a 49.49 balance, I topped up the first time (99.49), then a 2nd time, and my balance showed as 144.14, a 5.35 shortfall. This morning my first top up took my balance to 183.44. I then topped up 2 more times and it shows now my balance is 283.44. I'm towards the end of a 30 day package, unlimited data, and some calls and texts. I have not used my phone other than for data, so see no reason for my balance to be dropping. I've logged into the app to check usage, but it only shows January and it's not too detailed. Am I being charged for these smaller topups?
  3. Just to wrap this thread up, I wanted to say a big thank you to @billd766 The internals from his filter fitted perfectly inside my older model, once I had unscrewed the threaded disc in my base. A clean up, fresh ptfe and new filters: Then reassembled and back in the cupboard : Another job ticked off for the condo, and super happy to have kept 2 filters out of landfill. Mod: this thread can be closed. Thanks everyone.
  4. PM sent. Thank you for your very kind offer.
  5. Thanks again for posting. What would probably make sense is for me to propose to buy the parts you have, and then to make one good working filter out of what we have between us? That is presuming the top part of my housing fits on your base, or that your internals would adapt into my base. And you did say your filters are re-usable? Are you local to me, and would you be open to the idea?
  6. Thanks, but Google just throws up the same 2 places I already visited
  7. Yes, starting to think a change would be easier, but... The one you show is top fed, and needs to hang off a bracket. Mine is bottom fed, and conveniently sits on the cupboard base. Changing the pipework would be a pain as I would have to cut my pipework further up, before my main shut off valve. Anyway, agreed, it might be easier to source a whole new system than finding the specific filter to fit mine.
  8. It must have been my Internet connection as today I tried again, and then found a Line contact at the bottom of the page. I've been back and forth ing messages, and their final recommendation was this: The message which accompanied the picture said this: ไส้กรองน้ำแผ่นดิสก์ กล้วยหอม PURE ราคา 3500 บาทค่ะ And when Google Translated, means this: Banana PURE disc water filter, price 3,500 baht. To me it doesn't look like it will fit as the end part looks narrower than the threaded part on mine.
  9. On another note, I visited the shop yesterday on Thepprasit as mentioned earlier. Unfortunately they couldn't help, but I was pointed to a shop just up and along Sukhumvit a hundred metres or so, opposite the big Lotus. The guy there dug out a catalogue, and reckoned I would need one of these... They are special order, and because I wasn't wholly convinced they would fit, I didn't order there and then. At least now I know it seems, Pure have become Filtex.
  10. This is helpful, thank you for taking the time to find, photo and then post. Even though the casing of yours looks similar to mine, I've now found mine looks like it has a threaded part at the bottom. I took the while thing out this morning, cleaned it, and then took a photo or 2. The base of your 4 filter system isn't clearly shown, but would it be the same?
  11. That website won't load for me. My model number is 90104, as in the photo above, but yes I did see there are more up to date models. I'm going out now to the shop that was mentioned earlier to see if they can help. If not, I might make up a piece of pipe so I can bypass the filter for now. I'll need the water on and the housing removed even if I just want to take it out to flush and clean it ready for a new filter.
  12. Great info, thank you. I'll take a ride out later and see what they've got.
  13. Yes, I think this will have to be the plan. Meanwhile, I've just probed around the bottom with my fingers trying to find something filter-like, but ended up just unsettling the crud. I've had to reassemble for now, just so I've got running water, but it looks like I'll go out unwashed 😕
  14. Thanks, but I'm now starting to think the paper element filter is missing. Surely it would sit inside, nearly to the height of the casing? Yes, I've tried all sorts of googling, and now it's linking me back here to AN!
  15. I have googled/ lensed these pictures but most results came back in Vietnamese 🙁
  16. I'm working my way through issues here at my recently acquired condo, and the next is the water system. There is a water filter installed and I have just opened it to find it is well overdue some attention. Is anyone familiar with this filter? Inside looks like this I'm still trying to figure out if there's a paper type element, and then how to remove it, but does anyone know where I can find a replacement, in Pattaya?
  17. Thank you, I appreciate your reply. Since I wrote, I now find I can buy it here on an online auction site. If it's hard to find there, it would make sense for me to buy some here and bring it with me. Thanks again.
  18. Hi everyone, and Merry Christmas, to those who celebrate. Is Daktacort, or an equivalent, readily available there? There's been supply issues here in the UK apparently, and I had to have a prescription made up of the 2 individual ingredients (Daktarin (micronazole nitrate) and Hc45 (hydrocortisone acetate)). It's a messy job squeezing out from 2 tubes so just wanted to know if there's anything equivalent there before I arrive next month. TIA
  19. Perfect, thank you.
  20. Hi again all, So, with some great help from this forum earlier this year when I was searching for an earth here on the 12th floor: https://aseannow.com/topic/1320063-earth-where-no-earth-exists-on-12th-floor/ I have returned to my condo armed with what I need to make my electrics safe: a new (larger, so expandable) Consumer Unit, main switch and RCBOs. 2 days ago my power was isolated and I switched out the old, unprotected CU which looked like this...... To now what looks like this...... All of the previous wiring around the condo has remained, so all I did prior to this switchover was noted which cable goes where ie. A/C, shower, sockets lights etc. All of these circuits will be rewired in the future, to incorporate the new earth, but for now I have just separated as many double-ups and mixed sized cables as possible, and then fitted into (hopefully appropriate) sized RCBO. Anyway, nothing has tripped and it's been on the past 2 days, so all is great. I do however have a question or 2, whether they are regarded as "code", or just "good practise", I hope to do the best job I can. Q1. So, I have my earth cable coming into the CU now, but should I connect it onto the busbar on the top right, then link it over to the neutral busbar, or should this stay separate and only be used once I've got my twin and earth cables run? Q2. Was I correct to put the larger sized RCBOs nearer to the main switch, then reduced size the further away, or should it be the other way around (smaller to larger)?
  21. Thanks, will do.
  22. Several months later and I am back over and working on the electrics. I've made good progress, but is it OK to continue this thread even though the earthing query has been answered, or should I start a whole new thread? I've now made the CU changeover and it would be good to keep all the info together.
  23. Yes, you're probably right about some scammer sellers, but the OP asked about experiences with selling, so I answered. For some unknown reason other posters then want to comment on how many scammers there are. Yes, little chance of being scammed if you are selling and only accept cash/bank transfer as payment.
  24. I'm neither and happily posted my experience above proving this.
  25. Regarding selling on FB.... Last month I advertised some worn furniture and a desktop PC that was left behind in my recently acquired condo. I had to format the PC beforehand but it sold the day after going live with just one enquiry. Messenger on my phone went berserk with messages for the furniture, which was split into separate adverts: sofa/armchairs, dining table/chairs, sideboard, coffee table etc. The same day as the advert went live I sold the sideboard to the first person to show up, then an hour later, all the rest to a dealer who collected the next morning. He probably got a good deal but I needed a rest from having to respond to enquiries. For the ads - Good photos and clear wording etc, all in English. A farang bought the PC, and all the furniture went to Thais. All paid cash and took the items away. Similar luck might depend on what you're selling, and how you price it, but furniture seems to be red hot judging by my experience.
