I was also at the desk for 2 days of overstay and I remember that this man approached the overstay desk and, when he was notified of the ban on returning to Thailand due to the length of his overstay, after telling (but I didn't hear his story) and presented (I saw these) the documents relating to his paternity, after a few minutes he left with a smile and a thank you. Is it possible that he avoided the ban?

I don't know the criteria you want to use to answer your question, but I believe the owner of Trattoria Toscana is someone who found success in Pattaya. I spoke to him a few times and he left Italy for Macau, came to Thailand to open a small restaurant on the beach road where the Holiday Inn is now and then moved on to the current Trattoria Toscana/Moom Talay. And all without forgetting the commitment he put into opening the farm which he also uses for the products of his restaurant.
