  1. That's correct. Happened to me as well, but at least they copy the TM 30, but never using photos by phone. It's not a big drama: it's just the first time I saw this.
  2. 1) She has no pc or laptop 2) As I wrote, unusual check in as it's first time someone no look at the visa and or TM30 and I always get a copy with a printer, never by phone photo.
  3. I am on my way to Chiang Mai and stop to a cheap hotel (260 THB) for few hours before drive again. The receptionist ask for my passport but did not check the visa or make a copy, as well she doesn't care about TM 30 and again no copy. Just a photo with her phone with my personal data. It's normal doing that, taking a photo and no copies? What's the purpose of taking a photo of my personal data only? Thank you.
  4. Problem solved and in the meantime I have to ask another thing: it was no hacker, no identity theft: my son read the digit code to withdraw the sum and the amount, the only information necessary to deposit the money into the bank account of wo will receive the money. He did so and then transferred the entire sum to his account. All this, being a PEA, to buy some material. Unfortunately, but now she has learned her lesson, my daughter does not use passwords or other "security systems" on her phone. What punishment would you give for such an act? I have already said that he will not be able to participate in the next FCGs in Hua Hin. For a PEA it's like losing 10 years of your life.
  5. As a landlord myself, there is nothing strange in his request. Ask him to provide you a copy of his ID as well. I always do, no matter if they ask for it or not.
  6. Got twice a call from this number. Which country as +69 as country code? Anyone got a call from this number
  7. I don't seem to have accused or defamed MG of having appropriated the sum, but I simply told what happened to me by writing that it is a strange situation, especially given the fact that we often use MG and nothing has ever happened. For the rest, I apologize for what I wrote towards you, but I don't like being accused of what I'm not. I apologize and I hope you will accept my apologies.
  8. Because after more than a week I still haven't received a person. I would have a perfect adjective for a person of your caliber for having defined me as defamatory... but I avoid it otherwise they will kick me out of the forum.
  9. 2000 thb is not the problem. The problem that we use WU a lot, and I no want this happen when there are involved more money than 2000 baht.
  10. I cannot write about Walking Street. But last Monday at a police checkpoint on the wait to Sattahip, the Thai police guy, maybe thinking I cannot speak Thai, sent to check my documents a fat, around 60 years old, guy. All was ok, he was from Denmark.
  11. If you read the topics, you know what is going on. Or are you trying to say something else?
  12. What is the price that you see in the application, is the price you have to pay. No one more baht. I use most of the time motobike: from third road, TOT, to Tukcom, with a normal taxi it will be 100 thb. With a grab taxi bike half of it.
  13. 1) The Western Union issue has nothing to do with pick up money 2) This Moneygram, the money were sent on 2 November at 5.55 pm, Belgium time. I did not share the transition with anyone. Went yesterday to pick up the amount with my daughter under her name....cannot as wrote.
  14. I already contact main office, still wait a response. Thank you.
  15. How is it possible that someone got the money as you said, transfer number and ID are required? This is make me "crazy". How is possible? I used both WU and MG for years, and never happened something like this. Thank you.
  16. My parents sent money to my daughter as a gift for her new born baby. When she went to the office to collect the money, the lady at the desk said the money were already taken. But my daughter doesn't take the amount. As well, checking the online tracking transaction, it's says as well that the money were taken.Never happened. Strange situation. This makes also a problem with my parents thinking we are lying them. Thank you
  17. Correct. Apologize. Western Union did not scam me. Please if anyone can do as I don't see the edit button. Thanks and apologies again.
  18. So what should I do or it's just a waste of time? Thank you.
  19. Promise to sell something, but did not.
  20. I know it's only 2000 baht, but it's always money How to fill a complain for a western union issue ? Mean I was scammed by the receiver, not the company. Fill with local police or what? Money are already collected. Any chance to get back? Did anyone went through this before and succeeded? Thank you
  21. I made a gift for our 20 marriage anniversary to my wife and buy a new home to her. The home is totally at her name, but she called me that if I don't go to the Land Department with her and give my passport they will not release the chanot to her. With our first home (ten years ago) that not happened. New rules? In my opinion I think she wants me to sign a paper where it's stated that I no have any power on the house, like renting, selling etc. For me is ok as I own a condo. Just strange request. Thank you
  22. I reported it back on 2021: so now there is no possibility to, maybe, get the money back? Thank you.
  23. If I am the victim of a financial scam (around 200,000 thb), after how many years does the crime expire under Thai law? For example, if I'm not mistaken, in my country the crime of fraud expires after 10 years.
