  1. I would carry it in while you can. Keep 2.5k and cash the rest as needed. Looks like thb will be weakening going forward. All this assumes a safe place for the cash. Change at Superrich Green Ask bank ahead of time for new, crisp notes. Carry wd slip with you in case the cops want to steal it.
  2. You're a bit of a laff mate. While detailing a, b you forgot the actual reason they leave. The nation is wholly broken. As for English it's pretty crap at a professional level. I'll also clue you up a bit: the best of the lot get jobs in western countries, second Dubai, third service jobs in Singapore Hong Kong, fourth they get degrees reprocessed and they fashion themselves as 'English teachers'. They can do grammar lessons and teaching listening speaking exercises but pretty worthless for anything else. The hilarious thing here is with such marginal skills they think their salaries should match the best foreign teachers. No matter where they go they are constantly complaining, victimhood, racism... Kinda like you moaning on. Your post seems typical race baiting, woke bs on this site as of past years. Perhaps a soft side for these people or one yourself. By all means ... Leave Thailand, the forum and go support your people. I've been in Asia half my life, interracial marriage one quarter of my life, lived in seven countries, most friends if not all - not white. But honestly when I see bs comments like yours I could not give half af. This whole gay racist, racist, racist waaah... Time was my comments on thaivisa now with the dei whiners and the gay it's anything but. Racist, racist, racist... 😱
  3. It's all online. I've used a website called byrdie.com or something like that. It's very comprehensive
  4. As someone who has written yet never published a complete guide to Andaman Islands excluding Phuket our opinions differ. Personally, I stay well away from Phuket for a variety of reasons. These past years have only reinforced. The provinces both North and South have very fun beaches if you know, you know
  5. Apologies, misread Khao for Koh. Stand by my observation though. Anything less than 40km off the mainland is generally fairly average experience. Don't get me wrong it could be a great place to live or even a nice day out but if you're looking for staying days or even weeks or a really exceptional experience you need to get off the mainland
  6. Yes. Been decades since I'd done (2000-05) that but the festivals traditional running three days. Lots of fun, plenty of drinking. Laotian people are absolutely lovely
  7. On the MAINLAND Koh Tao not known for its beaches. The question is entirely subjective. I would say no. In fact, I would state that any island less than about 40 km off the coast probably has less than exceptional beaches Having said that, I am personally only satisfied and visit or stay on beaches that are at least four or five star. World class because why would a person go anywhere else when they have that opportunity? This is one of the best things that is on offer in Thailand. By and large free
  8. Not at all. Especially in Thailand the skin is harsh af. I've damaged my skin irreparably from decades of beach life. Simple, inexpensive skincare has made my face fresh, taken five years off me. I've a friend with dull, aged spot skin, uneven complexion I'm visiting at moment. He'd benefit enormously. At 60+ it's nice to catch a well dressed 40yo woman's eye in the MRT and that friends ain't gay! If single I think I could date down to half my age easily and perhaps into twenties if more fit.
  9. Got it. You can do that but still work on being a better version of yourself. They are not necessarily diametrically opposed He'll probably end up with a better looking lot of women as well. Contrary to many farang beliefs women just don't go to the highest bidder and if they do there's service with a smile, fun and extras.. a bit of connection or... it's just tactile service and quick departure.
  10. Go to Luang Prabang. That's what I used to do when I lived there. Days are warm, nights cool. Be certain not to return until it's entirely over so... ten days after last official day or weekend holdover. Idiot children still mucking about
  11. Perhaps, I don't spend any time on this board in past years, especially post COVID. It's good advice to anyone, especially trolls I'm thinking
  12. Unlike everyone else I applaud this. I'm on a similar journey. Don't do any with alcohol, that's no fun. Just cut back. Spirits not beer. Don't go on some crazy diet. Just cut portions and carbs Exercise. Before joining a gym walk.. walk everywhere and FAST. Start out at home stretching and reward yourself with a gym membership after four months of successful weight loss Use basic skincare products and simple regiment to rejuvenate your skin. A new you awaits in sux months.
  13. I don't. They are generally a money pit. They do not age well due to diet and genetics. My Thai wife is gold. I live in Thailand, support Thai people. I suggest unless married outside Thailand to a different foreign national you do the same. In fact, everyone living here indirectly supports Thailand over ??? by virtue of living here. Why do Filipinos live here? Because on any quality of life standard it's a better place. Philippines is an utter mess and tbh attracts the bottom rung passport bros. I use that new term bc all men moving there are marriage oriented. The locals are used as protection as much as companionship. Thailand has tens of thousands of free agent men. I was one until I met a really lovely woman decades into my time in Asia.
  14. You live in Thailand correct? You are vaguely familiar with Thai law I presume? What are the odds of a Filipino man having the capital and desire to open of all things - a bar. The question is absolutely assinine. I think you're in Thailand but boytown boys to clever for you and you're just fishing for what? Not entirely certain. Illegal boy toy working in a bar? That one homosexual Filipino bar owner in the whole of East Asia outside Philippines. Just another stupid post .. and btw all replies are do not meet your homosexual criteria so maybe just ask to close thread??
