  1. North Korea, China, Syria and Turkey. What damage was done by Trump's praises?
  2. It's no secret about Trump's and Kushner's business dealings. That said, it is better to be on the right side of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States. Their tremendous wealth is often used for political purposes. The U.S. does the same thing throughout the world; buying friendship and loyalty. It's all about money. If enough countries join BRIC and abandon the dollar the U.S. is screwed. No more printing money indiscriminately, followed by austere budgets and high inflation. Yes, Trump should have said something about Khashoggi's murder. Was it was mentioned in private? We may have to wait for another Julian Assange to find out.
  3. It's going to take more than luck to fix the monumental problems facing America.
  4. "Threatened decades of old alliances." Trump basically told countries taking advantage of America to put up or shut up, including NATO members. Besides Putin, exactly which "corrupt autocrats" did he cozy up to. Biden soured our relationship with the Saudis. Like him or not, MBS is someone to have on our side. And it is not just because of oil. Rodrigo Duterte could have the done more damage if Trump had badmouthed him. Now Marcos Jr. has mended a rocky relationship. Agree, Trump did some bad things, but his detractors forget some of the positive things he was responsible for.
  5. Why is it that you only reply to some of my posts and when you do reply you go on a tirade filled all sorts of hateful language? Is this something you learned as a case worker?
  6. Walker, the Talker is known to be long winded. He made sense until he revealed his former life and valuable service to America.
  7. As a former case worker, were you assigned the task of predicting the outcome of presidential elections?
  8. What happens if you are wrong about what happens this November?
  9. What makes you so sure that this hasn't already been used to spy on innocent Americans. Check and balances? If there is a will, there is a way. Some of the best hackers in the world work for America's adversaries.
  10. Notice that I did not use the word blame? And that was intentional.
  11. I had no idea that Trump was able to accomplish all of that in four years. Sure you haven't missed anything?
  12. In preparation for the ground offensive on Rafah, Egypt has cleared and walled in a six square mile area adjacent to the border. Although the Egyptians claim it is a staging area for aid and trucks. Six square miles is far in excess of what is needed.
  13. While it may not be Trump's plan, psychologically people are more open to discussion if you don't continually badmouth them. A little praise, whether deserved or not, goes a long way. This forum is a good example of this. Now I will be accused of being a Trump supporter, which I am not.
  14. While I agree that illegal immigration is a mixed bag, as you put it, I still maintain the country is better off without it. In the CONCLUSION the author states, "The overwhelming majority of illegal immigrants have no education beyond high school and primarily compete with U.S. born, and legal immigrants, in lower paid occupations that require modest levels of education."
  15. https://cis.org/sites/default/files/2023-09/camarota-testimony-9-13.pdf This is the correct link. I just tried it. Works. The Senate testimony is from 2016. This House testimony is from 2023.
  16. So you think Social Security is the only government program out there? No wonder you make such idiotic statements. If you took off your blinders you would see my other posts listing city and state dollars being spent on illegal immigrants.
  17. Sorry, this is the best I can do. https://cis.org/sites/default/files/2023-09/camarota-testimony-9-13.pdf Link will say "Page Not Found" Then: Click on Topics Under Topics click "Costs of Immigration" Under Sub Topics click "Wages,Jobs, and Poverty" Then scroll down to "The Impact of Biden's Open Border On the American Workforce"
  18. Ask heybruce. He seems to have all the answers. I know he doesn't like mine. The link I provided keeps on changing. I will see what I can do.
  19. I still say that illegal immigrants cost the country more than they contribute. https://edworkforce.house.gov/uploadfiles/9.13.23_camarota_testimony_help_subcommittee_hearing_on_open_borders_and_workforce.pdf
  20. https://www.wnd.com/2024/02/bidens-immigration-surge-push-wages-years-cbo-says/ The first source I read misquoted the CBO and blamed illegal immigration entirely. This link says both legal and illegal immigration will be the cause of wage stagnation. Difficult to know who to trust. When it comes to tax cheats of all sorts, the IRS usually calls it a high number to justify more money for enforcement. The fact is, whether high or low, these people are lawbreakers and should be dealt with.
  21. Interesting. From my personal observations, I've noticed different jobs seem to attract different ethnic groups. Filipinos, if given a choice, tend to choose work in care giving and nursing. And they are very good at it. Hawaiians are good as heavy construction equipment operators. Many Japanese choose carpentry and woodworking jobs. Caucasians, like myself, are found everywhere. I started as a carpenter and eventually became a licensed general contractor. My workers were a melting pot of ethnicities. Just saying.
  22. Okay strawberry picker, stop confusing the issue. The subject matter is illegals. My one experience with Mexican coffee pickers was awful. Because they were piece workers, they damaged the trees and picked both green and ripe berries. Never again. I grew up with sugar and pineapple workers who were unionized and made decent income with good benefits. Some were immigrant laborers and to my knowledge none were illegal. When the plantations closed many joined me in unionized construction work. So, I am not completely ignorant like you claim me to be.
  23. I guess you must have first hand knowledge of this.
  24. Enough of you nonsense. A guarantee from you is a joke. And a sad one at that.
  25. Yep. Different strokes for different folks.
