Higher driving speeds lead to higher collision speeds and thus to severer injury. Higher driving speeds also provide less time to process information and to act on it, and the braking distance is longer. The higher the collision speed, the more serious the consequences in terms of injury and material damage. This is a law of physics that involves the quantity of kinetic energy that is converted in an instant into e.g. heat and matter distortion. In addition, the human body is physically very vulnerable in comparison with the enormous forces released in a collision. You seem to be trying to suggest that he was going at walking speed and the dead woman has just tripped over awkwardly. Farcical nonsense as usual. Speed kills, and that is an accepted fact.

Oh dear, that wasn’t for you, but anyway. If you were half as smart as you think you are you would have seen that it linked to https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1056516996505048&id=100064402730843&set=a.648490497307702 Which has further information. Including that the American accepts that it was his fault and is being praised by some for accepting responsibility for this women’s death.

I wouldn’t bother Richard. Fred always thinks the Thais are against him and thinks he knows everything even though he is effectively illiterate and can’t understand anything but a basic sentence. He makes up what he imagines they are saying. He claims in this incident that the Thais were in the wrong but it is possible since he is an American that he just got mixed up what side of the road he was supposed to be on, didn’t understand how he was wrong because couldn’t understand what they were telling him and now feels like a victim. Quite possible something similar with this incident. The American is sure acting with the family that he knows he was in the wrong. He might might have been wearing dark tinted shades, with a dark tinted helmet and not have seen the poor lady.

I think telling car manufacturers that they can only make cars as fast as the speed limit would have a greater effect. Most cars can go over 200kmh. Why build them? -

I drive past buses everyday and never seen it. i have told you a million times before to strop exaggerating. 74 year old driver might have had a medical episode. -

Probably from Palestinian young men whose parents have been bombed. Others whose kids were bombed. Or maybe homeless men because their houses were bombed. And maybe a few who had their cars bombed. And probably a lot who have had their businesses bombed. A few Uni students who had their university bombed. etc etc If any of those things happened to me I would be signing up. -

How do you think it will go? A waitress mixes up his order? A Thai man didn’t want to be his friend? He couldn’t fill out a simple form? He is very delicate. -

It is people like Bob that makes a lot of us Brit’s apologists. We have to explain to normal people that not all Brits are like Bob, most of us are normal humans. I feel sorry for Bobs wife, imagine have to listen to constant complaining all day.
