Only muppets would complain about higher minimum wages and lower business taxes. If they had cut wages and increased taxes you would be whining. Some people just want to whine.

Since learning the lingo I am being seen more as a local now. i think if you never learn the lingo you will be isolating yourself from the 96% of Thais who don’t speak English.

Nice to hear. Personally I am finding learning smaller amounts properly and constantly revising is the best way rather than learning too much new stuff. it gets repetitive but I retain it better. trying to “think” in Thai also.

I asked a thai, they said Pantip. I will try it, also the thai language forum is up to speed now. It is good. you are living proof that it is possible. So many say it is too hard, but I think they are lazy and never actually really tried. Good one. i am still baffled by the strong resistance on this forum, I suppose it easier for them to spend their days making insulting and disparaging comments about Thais than actually doing something constructive Its nasty

Women’s volleyball team goes alright. Thai men over 40 seem in much better shape and more agile generally than Fatty Farang. just another thread to hang it on the Thais but I get piled on for wanting to do a thread about learning thai language.
