If you replaced the “Russians” with Brits in the OP it would be taken down in a heartbeat. when Bob isn’t slagging off the Thais he is usually slagging off Russians or someone else. All with his head in the sand about how most people see us here and the constant trouble we cause. Despite Russians out numbering us by 10 to 1, we make the news more for crime and unsavory incidents in Thailand. And a big part of that is people like Bob and Richard always mouthing off, sticking their noses in and offering “advice” on how others should be behaving. My personal experience with Russians unless drunk they mind their own business and keep to themselves.

What makes it ok is that I never hurt anyone. And never have.

It seems every week we have a fellow Brit in the news here and back at home doing a GOFUNDME because of having a motorcycle accident in Thailand. And of course most anccidents are not reported at all. Often the injuries in many cases would have been less severe if they were wearing a helmet. Do you wear a helmet, or do you just go with the flow and When in Rome?

So no then. I feel sorry for your in-laws. I can only imagine some of the things they must have been through with you over the years.
