  1. Booze will be sold in 4-5 star resorts. Booze will be sold in the smaller type shops. We are still allowed to drink on that day, just not in bars. i have stocked up and going to have a big one celebrating Makha Bucha. Pool party with a couple of bargirls who have the day off. Free barfine day.
  2. 15. You will not discriminate or post slurs, degrading or overly negative comments on the basis of race, gender, age, religion, ethnicity, nationality, disability, medical history, marriage, civil partnership, pregnancy, maternity, paternity, gender identity, sexual orientation or any other irrelevant factor.
  3. It is more than a few. there have been “no Israeli” signs in Thailand at resorts, shops and restaurants since at least the 90s. Their culture and manners clashes with the Thais manners a lot. We don’t see the same action against the other nationalities because they are simply not as disruptive and entitled as the Israelis. I pity the Palestinians in the Westbank having to put up with these people where they have no rights to oppose it. Good on the Thais, they are not anti Israeli for any religious or historical reason, it is purely for their behavior. Many countries have banned entry to Israelis, maybe it is time that the Thais do it also until they learn to behave properly and respect others.
  4. Taking Israeli apologist to new heights. The Thais were trying to help them not take them hostage. If they can not differentiate they shouldn’t be in Thailand. They broke into the hospital's emergency room, caused chaos, and vandalised public property after a motorcycle crash left a fellow Israeli injured. The arrests came after a doctor at Pai Hospital shared an account of what happened on social media, saying that this was not the first time the hospital had encountered rude, aggressive, and law-breaking visitors from Israel. https://www.bangkokpost.com/thailand/general/2957101/thai-police-crack-down-on-foreign-tourist-offences-after-pai-hospital-rampage.
  5. The behavior by these Jews has sparked a crackdown on all foreigners in Pai now. So they will be even less popular now. If that was possible. The arrests came after a doctor at Pai Hospital shared an account of what happened on social media, saying that this was not the first time the hospital had encountered rude, aggressive, and law-breaking visitors from Israel. Pol Lt Gen Saksira Pheuk-am, commissioner of the Tourist Police Bureau (TPB), has ordered TPB agencies to strictly enforce the law against foreign tourists who violate regulations, regardless of nationality. Thanks a lot. https://www.bangkokpost.com/thailand/general/2957101/thai-police-crack-down-on-foreign-tourist-offences-after-pai-hospital-rampage

  7. There is a reason behind Irish jokes.
  8. Trump seems to have a strange Village People fetish. Often those deep in the closet “object” the most. Trump was groomed from a young age by his father’s lawyer who died of HIV AIDS. He wears makeup, uses hair spray and a lot of fake tan. All a bit too much of a coincidence for me.
  9. I spend a lot of time in bars. I am ashamed of the way a lot of us Brits treat the women. For every one incident reported there a hundreds more unreported. It is completely unnecessary.
  10. Pushing in front of queues, and not respecting anyone like the example in the OP.
  11. Oh, you have misunderstood. i was saying that the reason so many Thai businesses banned Thais in the southern islands so often in the past was a result of the poor behavior of the IDF soldiers.
  12. I am not arguing with you, I am telling you as have others. You don’t want to believe it because it doesn’t suit your narrative. I don’t care. News on the internet was not a thing in the 90s when these signs were common around Thailand.
  13. Just go and ask Thai business people who lived through it. They will tell you all about the terrible behavior, booking a room for two but sneaking in ten, leaving without paying etc etc
  14. I don’t think Thai businesses banned Israelis out of hate because they were Israelis. They banned them because they were sick of their behavior, which was similar behavior that is reported in the OP.
  15. Obviously not if it didn’t happen with soldiers other than Israeli soldiers. I have never seen or heard of for example “UK people banned” outside of Thai businesses. But it happens with Israelis.
  16. No it seems to be an Israeli thing. Other soldiers on leave are not banned.
  17. Don’t be naive Nick. It is common knowledge.
  18. I didn’t condemn him for doing it
  19. And in Thailand. It wasn’t that long ago that you would see signs in resorts restaurants and even hairdressers in Thailand saying “No Israelis” Makes you feel for the citzens of the West Bank.
  20. The Americans are always slinging mud at other countries and religions. But I have know for a long time they are the sneakiest liars on the planet. We would all be better off without them and their trouble making sneaky, greedy tricks they use to turn us against each other for their own gain. Trump has been proven to be a compulsive liar many times. That is not my opinion, that is a fact. That the American people vote him in not once, but twice shows the character of the Americans.
  21. The video says foreigner, not farang. Thais would consider this foreigner to be a kaek, not a farang.
