  1. Many claim the requirement for that document? I've seen only 1 scaremonger who has made that unfounded claim maybe 200 times
  2. And another cave in from agent orange. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/trump-says-doubling-tariffs-canadian-142100812.html President Donald Trump dialed back his latest trade-war threat against Canada hours after making it, while downplaying the risk of a tariff-led recession that’s sent US markets into a nosedive. Trump’s roller-coaster day saw him threaten to double duties on Canadian steel and aluminum to 50% after Ontario announced plans to place a surcharge on electricity sent to the US, only to retreat back to plans for his previously announced 25% rate after the provincial government backed down.
  3. Not sure what you try to say. I'm not a native English speaker, but from what is written I can clearly understand that prior to 2024 income was only taxable if it was remitted in the same year. Starting from1/1/2024 income earned after that date is taxable regardless of what year in the future you're gonna remit it.
  4. Clearly explained here Residents who derive assessable income derived from outside Thailand would only be subject to tax if such income is earned in any tax year starting from 1 January 2024 onwards and is remitted to Thailand, wholly or partially, in the same or a later tax year. As for the rest of your remarks, yes indeed the website is not 300 pages long, so will have some details missing.
  5. Just stumbled on this website, and found it to explain things pretty good in a simple way. https://taxsummaries.pwc.com/thailand/individual/taxes-on-personal-income
  6. I thought you were on your way to Canada at this particular time.
  7. I have no opinion at all on what is happening, neither Palestine or Israel, as it all far from my bed and am not in the least interested in what is going on in the Middle East. But everyone should be entitled so support either party involved. I'm pretty sure these people do not support the terrorist, but rather the people who live there.
  8. Paid VPNs don't cause buffering. Free VPNs are slow, and that combined with the Wi-Fi because you use your phone, and the free streaming apps you use, it will become unusable.
  9. It's the hard truth, which he tries to deny, staring him in the face
  10. Did you ever see an iptv service promoted that didn't say, we are the best, guaranteed no buffering?
  11. This is about steel tariffs, which will add to the manufacturing costs
  12. Yes I mis formulated my post, and misread the post which I replied to. The point I tried to make was actually contradicting scaremonger heineken, who claims everyone has to file a return, or don't get a visa extension anymore
  13. Wow! Another TRD staffer that doesn't know tax regulations. Both statements incorrect. Hub of "Makin' it up as ya goes Along" Me? Reading the tax reg'lations. You can find most of it in English. Pretty straightforward as to who has to file and when. You mean like these? Of course you will know it all better. https://www.expattaxthailand.com/your-questions-answered/
  14. Canada is the toast, the US will be the spread on Canada's toast
  15. You don't need to remind me about your pedantic trolling nature. Would it satisfy you if i had named each European country individually?
  16. Looks like our resident jail bird is sharing his experience in this thread
  17. Nothing like that has been reported by members, since there isn't such a claim yet. The only posts are your unfounded scaremongering posts that immigration will demand them, while immigration has already said in public statements that have no intention to get involved with the revenue department
  18. And what are your qualifications, other than trolling?
  19. In fact, in the Jomtien revenue office, there is a document at the counters where you file your returns, that they want a bank statement for the whole year of those accounts
  20. I have a tax ID for many years, but haven't remitted any funds to Thailand in recent years, though I claim back withholding taxes every year. So this year, when I went to the revenue office, I asked the lady who could speak English well. If you remit funds to Thailand, and the total is below the threshold of your tax free allowance, you don't need to file. But if the total is higher than your tax free allowance, you need to file, regardless if they are assessable or not.
  21. They don't want to fight, I can't recall the last time Europe started a war. They are stuck with the proxy war the US started in Europe
  22. The US is built by European immigrants
  23. Give him a break, he just doubled his post count
