Yes. In most cases, Wise already has the money “in the country” and pays it out locally. If Wise doesn't have a direct connection to the recipient bank, they use another bank or a partner in the destination country. Swift from europe: About 2-3 days. Wire transfer from USA (Wells Fargo): One day. Wise from Singapore: Kasikorn Bank 10 sec to 5 min, to Krungsri Bank: 1 day.

British Man Dies After First Muay Thai Fight on Koh Samui
robz replied to Georgealbert's topic in Koh Samui News
Sad. Apart from Ramon Dekkers, I’ve hardly seen any farang who had a real chance in Muay Thai. Ramon Dekkers died at 43 while riding his bike — a legend. However, deaths in Muay Thai are very rare. In contrast, base jumping and wingsuiting are truly risky. -
Appreciate the attempt, but let’s not mix things up. Yes, the Richter scale is logarithmic — but in terms of amplitude, not energy. A magnitude 9 quake is 10 times stronger in amplitude than a magnitude 8, and 100 times stronger than a magnitude 7. When it comes to energy release, each step is roughly 32 times more, so a magnitude 9 releases about 1,000 times the energy of a 7 — not because 10³ = 1,000, but because 32² ≈ 1,000. Also, citing the 1,000 km distance as if it’s a magical safety radius ignores real-world examples. Bangkok experienced structural damage and even a high-rise collapse — which suggests the seismic waves did more than gently rock a chandelier. Mods edit: I have removed the parts that are not in English from the post, as I did not want to remove the full post.

This topic can't be treated so trivially. I believe that traditional vaccinations can certainly make sense, but they don't necessarily provide protection — I know people who were vaccinated and still got measles after contact with people from other countries carrying different virus strains. I do support the fight against Big Pharma. When it comes to COVID vaccinations, I'm critical due to the sharply rising number of cancer cases among young people — several high-ranking cancer researchers in the U.S. had warned about this. After my own vaccination, I experienced severe swelling in one leg, similar to a thrombosis.

In Lazada, usually only the flagship shops like 'banana it' are trustworthy. Otherwise, it can happen that you receive hardware very late, or hardware that was returned by others due to defects, or that contains different components. These are all things that happened to me. I recommend invadeit.co.th (a Farang-run business in hua hin): Mini PC with disk, search for desktop pc with lowest price: https://www.invadeit.co.th/category/desktop-pcs/sort/price/asc/ or Barebone: https://www.invadeit.co.th/category/barebone-pcs/

CHATPGT4o (as I said before, use the right AI): Krabi is both the name of a province in southern Thailand and the name of the provincial capital. When people say "Krabi Town", they’re referring to the capital city of Krabi Province. Officially, Krabi Town is classified as a "Thesaban Mueang", which translates to a "Town Municipality" – not large enough to be considered a full-fledged "city" by Thai administrative standards. It’s a small, laid-back town located near the Krabi River, and it serves as a gateway to popular tourist spots like Ao Nang, Railay Beach, and the Phi Phi Islands.

The free Bing AI runs with lower resources and with a higher temperature (more hallucinations) than paid AI's like Mistral oder chatGPT4o. I don't like the Bing AI, low results. Looking for tourist destinations is not the main use case for AI. But for extracting invoice data from a PDF or for creating and testing programming code, it has become very reliable and a great help. ChatGPT4o is also great to talk to. Swiss researchers demonstrated in a study with patients that ChatGPT delivers better results than couples therapists.

Biopsy can be made in any big hospital in TH, they send it to bangkok, result in a few days, price between 5000-10000 Baht. Also turmeric powder (e.g. mixed with a skin cream) seems to work: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC9110126/ It's available in every pharmacy (Khamin Chan). With turmeric, the only problem is the yellow color that stains everything.
