  1. Usually by the month with one free cleaning per week. Since daily is more expensive than monthly, you would expect the same once a week at least. That a strange reply, since if they are renting by the day, they are a 'hotel'. Which leads me to believe that they don't think that you are their customer, but perhaps a private tenant. Personally I would call to confirm. A disappointing reply that will obviously affect their business.
  2. Yeah...but it's 4 baht. Nefarious would be if it were being sold as something more expensive. It's cheap and it works.
  3. That's strange. How did you learn all this in such a short time? I actually stayed there a while back and didn't experience what you suggest. How do you propose that it will affect your friend on a daily rental, as there are no charges for electricity etc? The cleaning thing I suspect, may be due to owners who rent their apartment out privately and whose tenants then expect the staff to take care of their problems, instead of the owner. But I honestly don't understand why via email they wouldn't state the cost. Who is it that replied back to you?
  4. Don't be silly now. Some people might want their room cleaned and sheets changed every day. Another perhaps once a week and using the nearby laundromat in between. Why do we have so many whiners here, just looking for problems? I think if staying two weeks they should insist on a no charge cleaning once a week. That's reasonable. Monthly rental gets you once a week cleaning, so a two week rental should offer the same.
  5. Likely the bike was crossing from one side to the other and didn't hear the car at all. It clearly wasn't head on or to the back, but a hit to one side of the bike.
  6. Nice fantasy.....welcome to the real world.
  7. Walking distance to Pattaya Tai Market, Buakhao Market and Friendship Supermarket. Good security. Visitors have to leave their ID and you can 'request' that they cannot retrieve it without your being there.
  8. Ssshhh...no one tell Donald Trump. He wanted to be the first..
  9. That was already discussed earlier. Another member has tried them and says they are as good as anything else he has smoked. So again, at 4 baht per gram, what's your point?
  10. At 4 baht per gram, what's your point? @BritManToo tried some at 7 baht per gram and doesn't seem to be complaining. Do you have skin in the game?
  11. Opera Browser has a free Proxy function. Proton offer a free VPN.
  12. Use it as a test for your own level of patience. The level of anger that you are exhibiting here, is likely what got the Brit into trouble in the first place. It really doesn't matter who is right or wrong. No one is perfect. Accept that and chill. Try to enjoy each moment instead.
  13. True SIM: 50 baht Add package and test. https://topping.truemoveh.com/campaign Unlimited 8Mbps (Normal 4Mbps) 24Hours 8 Mbps 32 baht 7 Days 8 Mbps 180 baht 30 Days 20 Mbps 475 baht Up to you. If all good, spring for the 12 month SIM.
  14. Have you considered obtaining a normal TRUE SIM and finding out for yourself, before committing to a longer term?
  15. You are discussing extremes. It's simply pottering around to gather your essentials without having to spend the whole day doing it. You'd think I'd suggested walking on hot coals by the reactions here. Weak hearts.
  16. Indeed, they are often called cowards. I don't understand why you are making such a fuss about it. Wear it proudly.
  17. Please stop...it's leaning towards the pathetic.
  18. Yensabai Condotel? https://www.yensabaipattaya.com
  19. I don't care either way. I used to go to Sri Racha to eat sushi at Anego.
  20. Most of the negative comments are from people who have not ever set foot in the place, but sit in front of their keyboards doing 'research' or who barely moved from the congested centre.
  21. I think that I mentioned cowardice earlier. Let's not labour the point. Perhaps better you stop crossing roads and instead carry on until you find a footbridge. Careful you don't trip and fall over the railings of the aforementioned. Living can be risky. You can choose to live like a man or a mouse. Up to you.
