  1. If it is a daily occurrence, why not hire some security? A couple of motorbike taxi guys would sort it out.
  2. Does this mean that they finally realize that Climate Change is real?
  3. I get mine done by the Abbot at one of our village Wats. If he is not available I go to my doctor. Both refuse any payment.
  4. Agreed. Imagine what he would do if she ever let one rip in public. 😆
  5. I was told by the Revenue Department, just last week, that if you pay tax on the money you bring into Thailand, by Law, you will still be required to submit a Tax Return, together with a Certificate from your home country confirming that you have already paid the Tax. When I asked how they would know about money coming into Thailand they said that you would also need to submit a 12 month Thai Bank statement. They went on to say that there WILL be additional checks om ALL foreigners. They are currently in discussions with both Thai Banks and Immigration. The above is NOT scaremongering, it is a genuine report of my conversations with the Revenue Office.
  6. That might be the case, but it does not stop the rest of the world laughing at America. I saw a FB post earlier today just proving how dumb some Americans can be. Rear car sticker " The world is flat. Stop listening to Lies" and just to the right (on the same car) "Vote Trump and Save America". Just about sums it up.
  7. Khon Kaen accepted Passport and Yellow Tabian Baan.
  8. @ Old Croc So someone told them where you were. Yes, the lady from PR told them that I was an In Patient, hence she was lodging my 90 report.
  9. My 90 day Report was due during a hospital stay. The hospital had an American lady working in PR for foreign patients. She very kindly went to immigration and filed the report for me. The following day I had a visit from the Immigration Office to confirm that I was a patient there. All very polite and over in 3 minutes as I could not offer them a coffee. 😄
  10. There is an Artist based on floor B1 of TukCom (opposite Kosa Hotel). He displays paintings of the Royals mainly, but was working on a view from Paris a couple of weeks ago. He showed me the photo that he was working from and all looked perfect. He said that he can copy any photo that you like to present to him. If you enter Tops from the road and then exit at the tills he is on your right, close to the food vendors.
  11. I rather hope that he does become president. That way the world will have something to laugh about again.
  12. If they are not at Uni studying they should get a part time job and try to reduce the Student Loan debt and not waste time protesting. It was reported yesterday: The Student Loan Fund (SLF) has bad debts that have reached 100 billion baht,
  13. I think that ALL farangs on this Forum should "Express Outrage" at this happening and DEMAND a full investigation by a minimum of three independent Police Stations. [Sarcasm Alert]
  14. My doctor prescribed Seretide for me, but changed it to Flixotide because of the "harmful steroid" in Seretide. I also use Spiolto Respimat. I get that from Bangkok Drugstore (online) and get next day delivery in Isaan via Kerry Express. Beredual is a good alternative to Ventolin and is also an over the counter inhaler.
