Just going back...How have you tried to sign in to NetFlix on the TV? Did you scan a QR Code?

No, I don't. It's actually not a cheap TV, but as noted, it comes with HiSense's proprietary operating system, rather than Android. That's why you cannot delete nor install anything. If NetFlix has updated their application, there is no guarantee that Hisense will have updated the version on their TV or even their firmware in general. Try even finding that model in the shops... If their Tech fails to get it working, then my advice would be for you to obtain a Google Certified Android box. That will plug in via HDMI and give you full access to NetFlix and whatever else you might like to watch. Expect to pay 1000 baht at the least, 2000 baht should cover it.

Twenty four hours later and the OP is still unable to quote the model number of the TV involved... It seems beyond him, so perhaps a suitable Android box is the answer.

@BusyB If they are ''getting laid' then they aren't necessarily incels. That being said, we do have incel types on the board who aren't pensioners and who do have to pay, but display incel like behaviour in their outward display of hatred towards women.

@hotandsticky How would you like it described? 😊 Don't take it so personally. As they say, it's not just what you do, but the way that you do it. We all have our own ways. It's good that we can speak freely amongst each other and use what we read for guidance as to where we are ourselves. Let's talk about sunglasses whilst we are here. I just use a tinted visor on the bike. Sunglasses are a good idea, though the frames are not as important compared to the quality of the lens. I'd certainly pay for good quality lenses and not waste money on showing off a brand name.

Before you go any further... To which Netfix package did you subscribe? Ad supported versions are nobbled in that they cannot cast. Secondly, what model your TV?

@treetops What you write is not the whole truth. Those convection/halogen ovens don't need preheating. Not crisping up is not an issue that I have ever faced when using one. They might take a little longer to cook things, but of course that is because they are bigger. I would not even consider buying a tiny 'air fryer'. I can bake cakes and bread in a 700 baht convection oven with no preheating necessary, in addition to all of the things you can do with an air fryer.

@ThreeCardMonte I read your post and understood that you see yourself as a 'have' and that you imagine that 'Trump hating leftists' are scruffy. Friends of mine run reasonably successful concerns, but you'd have no idea when looking at them. Most certainly more wealthy than yourself. Driving around in small cars and behaving like normal people...because they are normal respectful people. You on the other hand... It's not about money is it? It's your character. That's why you over emphasise money. It's due to knowing you are inadequate in other areas.

I believe you. I didn't write anything about your neighbour's AC unit. You seem to be getting flustered and confused. A friend of mine has repeatedly invited me to stay at their place in San Diego. Maybe I'll take them up on it one day. Sometimes I pay, sometimes they pay. My girls have their own source of money, so don't need mine. Either way, none of us care about it. Not envious, ever. @hotandsticky No...you don't have a perfect life....if you are having to pay. That lasts for a long as you keep paying. It's not just what I believe, I am living it. Both on the side of people assuming that I have money by outward appearances and me dressing down so as to not attract attention. I do not bother to press myself down under the weight of delusions. There's a big difference with someone walking alongside because of you, rather than the stipend that you proffer.

Success in relationships? I don't EVER pay my girls. Not ever. Is that success or is having to pay them, success? Wasn't it you who was crying about your neighbour running his airconditioner all day? What kind of place do you live in where someone else's airconditioning unit can bother you? Success? Sorry, but your idea of success is just superficial nonsense. I don't dress to impress because I don't want the attention. I love that I can have a perfect life without needing to spend much and instead can focus on my relationships. That's why I don't need to pay. Depth, not superficiality.

I can tell you that I don't spend even a single second of my life wondering whether someone is a 'lefty' or not, let alone any attempt to associate them with a particular style of dress. That seems to be a strange way to live. Dare I say it...you seem to have a mental issue. A weird kind of obsession that steeps into your real life.
