  1. I would not follow the advice to go to Tukcom. For a number of reasons. You should source the screen yourself and expect to pay close to 5,000 baht. You will see cheaper options, but they will be of low quality and will not function properly. The cheaper ones might state AMOLED, but in the small print turn out to be TFT or OLED. You want Dynamic AMOLED 2X with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Anyone sending you off to Shopee or Lazada without those specific instructions is leading you up the garden path... Typical example: https://shopee.co.th/product/1212587962/29770987418
  2. Please show us where is it not legal @Hummin? It's just an anomaly in your mind. Please show us a case study of even a single person who has been reprimanded/prosecuted for using cannabis flowers. You've just gotten yourself worked up into a froth and now cannot get yourself out of it. This whole thing was obviously a spat between Thaksin and Bhumjaithai and NOTHING to do with foreigners smoking. Nothing at all. Of course they say it should be used for medical purpose, but that is a broad church. So in fact there aren't any restrictions on usage, other than no sales to children, pregnant women etc. Just leave it now. You are wrong and just making yourself seem a bit crazed.
  3. @Hummin What is going on with you of late? Your mind appears to be deteriorating. Cannabis flower usage is quite legal. If no prescription is necessary, then it can be utilised for any ailment that you perceive. That is M E D I C A L usage. If someone is stressed and over anxious and uses it, that is MEDICAL usage. It doesn't become recreational because you were annoyed by it on holiday. You need to let it go and move on. You are wrong.

@marin Beef shin will work in a stew. I used it as braised beef for some Chinese style dishes. If that doesn't suit, you can find 'soft' beef at Ratanakorn Market for around 220 baht per kg. You will see fat marbled through it. Helps if you know for what to look. I use that for dishes such as Redang, where you want the meat to melt in your mouth. Shin pieces can sometimes be a bit too strongly flavoured, so better for more robust stews.

Go Wholesale currently have local beef shin for 200 baht per kg or chunks of low fat beef meat for around 235 baht per kg. The cheaper cuts are in the chicken section. Their chicken and beef prices often undercut Makro considerably. Often you will see restaurant owners go in to take up the whole stock of chicken pieces because of this.
  6. @Hummin That's exactly what I'm trying to tell. That many people don't see the 'problems' that you see. I would state that I have the same problem with vapers and their 'strawberry smoke' and cigarette smokers and their stinky smoke, but I don't feel the need to start a thread and to rant about it, accusing everyone who doesn't immediately side with me, as the enemy. That's just nuts. Respect that different people will have different perspectives. I absolutely believe that people should try to not inconvenience others with their smoke, but that has NOTHING to do with the PT attempt at 'recriminalisation'. So your thread makes no sense at all, other than an opportunity for you to shake your fist at the clouds. Normally you present a more intelligent face, but lately, I'm beginning to wonder.
  7. @Hummin There you go with your "you guys" nonsense again. Who are the "you guys"? It shows that you are just ranting against some unquantified 'enemy'. I just told you that I don't like people smoking in my vicinity and you reply with a "you guys" post. Who are these "you guys" other than some 'bee in your bonnet'? You have a mental issue. That's all it is. You don't speak for Thai people nor any people for that matter. MYOB is my suggestion to you. Shame about your island trips, but this has been going on since the '90's. If it were only cannabis... I stopped going to the FMP became a hotbed of drugs and certain types.
  8. Again @Hummin it's weird that you don't take the hint. This a problem that you have and you obviously looked for a way to vent your spleen via the board. It shows when you write things such as "spineless individuals". Exactly the same phrase that you used when you complained about foreigners talking about Thai women in front of your wife(where she could clearly understand what they were saying)...and the same that you have used countless other times. You are mad. So you've started a poll, but seem to have ignored it, instead using the thread as a platform to accuse everyone of being the reason why recriminalisation was being considered. Weird...I mean really. It's you who is doing the attacking, yet you see people attacking you "from all sides and corners". I suggest it's time for you to undergo a mental evaluation. I've noticed your strange behaviour before, but brushed it off as a misunderstanding. But this... I'll tell you why I and many others might think it strange... Firstly your assertion that members of this forum smoking in public is the reason. That's strange enough, but when put to you that the reason for recriminalisation were somewhat different, you didn't seem interested in discussing that angle at all. So it really looks as if you just need a vehicle for ranting. Unfortunately getting more mad along the way and then having to backpedal from your strange accusations. First against @save the frogs and then @blaze master . I have not ever been at a restaurant wherein someone fired up. In fact if someone even lights a cigarette up next to me, I send them off elsewhere. But of course you aren't interested in anyone normal, as you are looking for someone to hate. That is YOUR mental issue. Ranting about unknown 'spineless individuals'. Seek help before it's too late. Maybe try some weed.
  9. Screenshot @YorkshireTyke 19.2 Mbps is obviously not acceptable.

  11. I see @Yagoda is back, with his idiotic Translation: nonsense. Literally having a conversation with himself.
  12. 19.2 Mbps or 19.2 MB/s? Why don't you post a screenshot of the test?
  13. Struggling to follow you on this one @Hummin Seems more like a mad rant than a sensible discussion. Accusing people en masse of being responsible for possible recriminalisation. Not unlike the extreme right wingers here that see everyone else as being on the Left. You need to find balance or your thinking will do you in.
  14. They again have 250g Westgold Salted and Unsalted butter for 80 baht. https://westgold.com
  15. What is up with @Hummin? Seems to be of the belief that the talk of recriminalisation had something to do with some people smoking in public... Someone should tell him that it likely had nothing at all to do with that. Even so...slightly concerning behaviour.
  16. @freedomnow "Dated hard working chix"..." doesn't mean that they were into you. If no gifts, she ain't your girl.
  17. @ThreeCardMonte I can see that I have made an indelible mark on what is left of your heart. You seem to have @JakeC Derangement Syndrome. 😊 I guess it hurts to discover that none of the women you have dated actually liked you. No gifts, no clothing... they just take the money and run. I guess that is no surprise to anyone here.
  18. In a man's world, the men who dress women are Gay or Sugar Daddy/pervert. Every boy understood that any clothing they might buy for a woman would go right back to the shop. Either for an exchange to the right size or to change it for something more suitable. Men are hopeless at that sort of thing. I'm increasingly of the opinion that the people who hold vile opinions here, have not ever had a real girlfriend. Not ever had real love in their lives.
  19. @Nick Carter icp You are the 'independent' type with no girl. That's for sure. I also buy my own clothes. But my girls buy them too. Every single one of them. It's normal. Instinct to dress your man. If they don't, they don't care. They are just in it for what they can get. If it's really your girl, she will have your best interests at heart. Now you know. I guess it's clear to you now that the only woman who ever loved you was your mum...and then only until you were twelve years old.
  20. I almost don't ever hit it, even if someone does something stupid. The reason? It's likely to startle them and make it more likely that they make a further mistake. Generally, they will apologise if they know they did something stupid. No need to rub it in. Just yesterday, a bike pulled out in the road prematurely, a dangerous act. I didn't hit the horn, as that might have made them panic in the middle of their original error. I just stopped and shook my head. They immediately acknowledged and 'apologised' with a nod of the head and that was that. No need to humiliate or to create a scene.
  21. No @Nick Carter icp It is NOT usually men who buy clothes for women. That's just a certain type of man...sugar daddy. I don't think that I have EVER purchased clothing for a woman. Women dress their men, not the other way around. Boy....you have really missed out on life. Even as teenagers, my girls would buy clothing for me. It has nothing to do with habit. Just instinct if they consider you their man. Have you ever had a real girlfriend? Doesn't seem like it. That progressed from clothing to jewellery. What do you think happens to the money that simps and incels give to the local freelancers and sideline girls? They spend some of it on their men.
  22. Yes @Nick Carter icp Why do you ask? Seems a strange and unrelated thought. Trans on your mind? I'm sure you can find dating apps for your type.
  23. Here's another girlfriend test for the inept right wingers. You know who you are 😊 I don't think that I have ever had a girlfriend who did not buy me clothing(with their own money). That's another thing that girls do. If she doesn't do it, she is not your girl @Cameroni You are her job.
  24. @johng Direct you've advice to them. No one is perfect, so give them some help.
  25. Wow...such 'loyal' customers. It's not a big supermarket chain. Why not support them by giving them feedback? Tell them you would like to order online, but most product seem to be missing. maybe they can send you updated lists. Why not make some effort to support local business? Such petulant children. They aren't perfect so I not ever deal with them again....horrid.
