Thats a long way to go on a crappy Air Asia plane. I wouldn't do it even for free. Strange you are considering either Air Asia, or business class. Completely opposites. I would try searching Singapore airlines Premium Economy. Less than half the cost of business class, but perfectly tolerable.

If you tap your card or use the chip when you pay, there is no possibility of fraud. With both those methods all information is encrypted. Just don't physically hand your card to the cashier or give the number to anyone. That's when most fraud happens. If you swipe your card there is also a chance there could be a skimmer on the reader which could get your card number because when you swipe, the card number is not encrypted.
