  1. Actually, not. I still wouldn't trust I can get out all their dirty tap water. I'll wait and eat salads in first world countries.
  2. recent study by scientists at Columbia University found that a liter of bottled water contains approximately 240,000 detectable nanoplastic fragments, which are smaller than one micrometer in length.234+1 But when I brush my teeth, I doubt I swallow many of those nano plastics, so I'm not worried about it.
  3. How do you brush your teeth? Bottled water of course. You are crazy if you are putting feces filled Thailand tap water in your mouth.....
  4. Personally, I won't eat salads at restaurants in any country where I wouldn't drink the tap water. It's not worth the risk to me.
  5. Also one of the number one causes of food poisoning. Usually washed in local tap water and full of unhealthy bacteria.
  6. Did Trump blame Biden yet? I'm sure Trump will find a way to make this Biden's fault.
  7. But we don't know who else these clowns texted national secrets to. Surely Goldberg wasn't the only one.
  8. Seriously? How could Trump have picked dumber cabinet members than Biden?
  9. You don't want a "marriage visa" unless you intend to live permanently in the US. It's not for temporary visits, takes a year or two (or maybe more now, who knows), and costs a few thousand dollars. It can be difficult for a Thai married to an American to get a tourist visa. They will assume your plan is to live in the US permanently, and you are just trying to avoid the long expensive process of getting a marriage visa. To have a chance at getting a tourist visa she will need to show strong ties to Thailand and have a strong reason to return. If she has a job, owns property, has kids or aging parents in Thailand that she needs to return to, she will have a chance to get a tourist visa. The process is outlined on the US embassy website. There is nothing any visa service can do for you except hold your hand while you complete the process.
  10. If you are paying with a foreign credit card with a decent exchange rate, I've found its best to pay in Malaysian Ringgit with Air Asia. If you select Thai baht or any currency other than Ringgit, the fare will be about 5% higher.
  11. Hua Hin beach is 5km long. About 4.5km of it are peaceful and quiet. The only area that is usually busy on weekends is up north near the town. Most expats live further south in condos along the beach near the malls or cicada market. This area is always quiet and mostly European expats and snow birds at the beach.
  12. An emergency travel document can normally only be used to travel to your home country that issued the document. It's very unlikely you could use it to travel to Australia or back to Thailand. If your current passport is too damaged to travel, you need to postpone your trip until you can get a new passport.
