  1. As usual trump couldn’t hide his racism from being evident as he resorted to making threats to New Yorkers if they didn’t vote for his choice of candidate, another man accused of sexual misconduct. So now after criticising Sadiq Khan, the Muslim mayor of London, despite having no influence, or right to to be involved in British politics whatever, he now has to come to terms with Muslim Zohran Mamdani in his old home town and it will torture his tiny mind. Yet again New Yorkers have just given trump the big <deleted> you, good on them!
  2. One thing trump never considers is reality until it directly affects his attempts of his authoritarian control. Judging by the early results and his attempts to besmirch or attack those he see’s as threats has failed miserably. Mamdani is the mayor of New York and democrats have gained too. His blatant disregard for the working people of America with his new $300 million Epstein ballroom, government shutdown, illegal ICE activities, tariffs increasing prices and giving Venezuela $50 million whilst he tries to starve his own people of low income who rely on SNAP for food was enough for Americans to demonstrate they recognise he doesn’t give a damn about them and if allowed what other damage he’ll do to the country. Those Americans who had the opportunity to vote have demonstrated they know a 100% shyster when they see one.
  3. Typical Thai response. It’ll be hard to achieve when those involved are also responsible for allowing it to happen. That’s exactly the reason why Thailand is being monitored so closely, too many corrupt individuals directly involved.
  4. I flew on Thai lion recently and captain was British. Had a brief chat and he said he had to jump through a lot of hoops to get the job but was welcomed by the Thai pilots.
  5. Give me an example. All I see is negative articles.
  6. Unfortunately these gullible ladies have learned the hard way that they weren’t in love with a rich nigerian prince.
  7. I think despite his banishment from his royal position and titles this whole saga is far from over. His assumption of being untouchable is no longer valid. Too many people know too much about his association with Epstein and his other antics. Where once they might’ve have been scared or intimidated to say anything now there is genuine demand to find out the facts about all the allegations and those involved by the public. The power is no longer with the abusers, but with the victims themselves who are well aware of those who abused them, and no doubt, have their own files of those and will expose them to get the justice they deserve.
  8. Trump has always wanted to be accepted by those as he see’s powerful and strong and pretend he is to. What he fails to comprehend is that will never be the case despite him now being potus. As he demonstrates regularly he hasn’t the standard of intelligence required, resorting to bullying and offensive comments in trying to disguise his general ignorance of world politics and using plagiarism to self promote himself. World leaders know how to deal with such a malignant narcissist, just like a little kid. Telling him want how smart he is and giving him presents means he’s easy to manipulate, as proven in his deal making where he gives away more than necessary. Putin, Xi and Kim Jong Un have played him by exploiting this very trait and he’s still too naive to understand it. He’s a tool to be used when required.
  9. I thought all the major Buddhist events coincided with a full moon?
  10. It was sickening to see all those present at ASEAN conference all kowtowing to the demented orange man, but they know it’s all part of the game to curry favor. You can’t trust anything he say’s or does because he changes his mind so often. That’s why they call him taco. Just look at his current fall out with Canada, because they aired an advert that upset his man child thin skin.
  11. Two things affect tourism. The currency of the destination, value for money is important. The second, whether people can afford to take vacations in the first place. The cost of living has increased in some countries from where the most popular tourists come from. Until they accept the reality of the situation rather try and forecast the future, and waste money on what they think will attract them, they address the issues they can control, ie the baht. If they bothered to look on the internet and read people’s reviews of their holiday stays in Thailand they might understand what actions are required.
  12. You’ve gotta laugh, because they really expect people to believe this BS.
  13. They should focus on the now, the future would benefit from it.
  14. But paid an out of court settlement! If he wasn't guilty of any criminal activity why wasn’t he keen to demonstrate it by going to court and proving his innocence at the quickest opportunity? He’s a liar and obnoxious individual, greatly disliked by of those who had to work in close proximity to him and now hasn’t got his mother to pull the strings to protect her favourite son any longer. The clock is ticking for this PoS.
  15. Like most of his ilk the scumbag believes his position allows him to do what he wants, financed by the British tax payers, legal or not. Both he and his equally despicable ex-wife courted attention even if it meant socialising with scum like Epstein. They had no morals, only of self gratification of status. Removing of his titles mean nothing to the average Joe. His contempt, and lies, about his activities which eventually led to the 12 million court case settlement only confirmed his guilt to the UK citizens and increased the level of how much he is despised in the country and the desire to see him held to account and punished accordingly.
  16. I understand why TAT is using Lisa for promoting the country, but I’m not so sure how well known she is in other countries other than Japan, Korea and Thailand and whether that’ll have any influence on tourism directly. Maybe if they made clones of her and put them in bars in, Bonkcok, Bhuket and Pottaya it would have more success.
  17. Mussolini, Hitler and Stalin never won, so the shyster shouldn’t hold his breath. The only reason he’s obsessed about it is because his nemesis Obama got one and it twists his melon.
  18. Definitely not a “famous” actor. Looks like his latest role is conning the Thai’s about his acting career. Not so sure he’s doing much to boost morale among the army but more of a vainglorious attempt to gain attention for him and his wife and get celebrity status.
  19. Do they really think people are going to believe this BS? Everybody’s on the take, the army, plod and politicians. This is the just the face saving baloney for the most recent cop caught on camera incident. I hope more footage of the corrupt boys in brown keep getting exposed to keep the f***ers on their toes, they so deserve it.
  20. The tourist figures are down: Thailand received approximately 35.5 million foreign tourists in 2024 but has seen a dip in arrivals in early 2025, with 19.57 million visitors by early August, a 6.56% decrease from the previous year. The government has lowered its 2025 forecast to 34.5 million visitors due to intensifying regional competition and other factors. The facts speak for themselves.
  21. I can’t tell if those involved are in Thai tourism are naive or just plain stupid. Market expansion and cultural festivals aren’t going to cut it. They need address the key issue, the baht. People want value for money, the baht fluctuates on a daily basis and prices have increased. This is detrimental for tourism. Add the ridiculous conflict with Cambodia, which is being dealt with by almost childish response and the current unstable political situation isn’t assisting the situation either. Inflation increasing in their own countries is an issue so potential tourists check out the internet for the places that offer the best value for money, hence why Vietnam is becoming more popular in the region. Until those in the tourist industry comprehend this, the almost daily wringing of hands about what to do about the dropping numbers, they’ll be stuck in this vicious circle of incompetence.
