  1. It's really easy to calculate the percentages Trump got by yourself. The trade deficit divided by total imports. No leftist fact checker needed. It would be the world's greatest coincidence if that number coincided with the actual tariff rate countries charge the US for every country.
  2. I would bet the building would not have collapsed then. The fact that the one building that collapsed was under construction was probably not a coincidence. Since the collapse started at the top, it's likely the heavy crane at the top and it's tens of tons of weight was the domino that started the collapse.
  3. I wouldn't "boycott" Tesla, but there is no way I would buy their products. I just wouldn't want the stigma of owning a Tesla, and risk the possible harassment of an angry mob attacking me. Particularly if the US economy becomes really bad, it could be dangerous to own a Tesla.
  4. The third option is the Republican sheep in congress could grow a spine and assert their authority. Under the constitution, a president of any party does not have this much power. Congress could easily stop this madness if they choose. Which option is more likely, I don't know.
  5. Do you seriously think those numbers that Trump showed on his silly childish chart were the tariff rates countries charge the US? Those rates are something Trump made up in his head and were based on the trade deficit, and had nothing to do with the tariff rate countries charge the US. https://taxfoundation.org/blog/trump-reciprocal-tariffs-calculations/
  6. Trump does want negotiation. But he wants it so he can get special benefits and kickbacks for himself. You have to remember Trumps only goals are to screw over as many people he hates as possible, and to collect as much money for himself as possible. These tarrifs accomplish both goals.
  7. I see. To each their own. If you show your onward flight to the IO upon arrival, I'm sure they will just enter that same date in the exact same system.
  8. The only place it's currently 67% is in Trump's head. Those percentages Trump made up were based on the trade deficit, and had nothing to do with the tariff rate.
  9. But why not just enter the onward flight date in the online form. Then the IO almost certainly won't even ask you about the onward flight. Makes everyone's life easier.
  10. Much better you enter anything that applies to you even if it's not mandatory. If you skip something important, it is likely to get you extra questioning from the IO upon arrival. For example, if entering visa exempt, I definitely wouldn't skip the departure flight information. That would almost certainly get questions from the IO.
  11. Just use the official website. It's not difficult to use. No invitation needed. https://evisa.gov.vn
