I see. To each their own. If you show your onward flight to the IO upon arrival, I'm sure they will just enter that same date in the exact same system.

The only place it's currently 67% is in Trump's head. Those percentages Trump made up were based on the trade deficit, and had nothing to do with the tariff rate.

But why not just enter the onward flight date in the online form. Then the IO almost certainly won't even ask you about the onward flight. Makes everyone's life easier.

Much better you enter anything that applies to you even if it's not mandatory. If you skip something important, it is likely to get you extra questioning from the IO upon arrival. For example, if entering visa exempt, I definitely wouldn't skip the departure flight information. That would almost certainly get questions from the IO.
