When they first change this over I asked the same question. It's not any one particular person. It's a person a person liked .... ..so many petty people on this forum, trolls they needed to anonymize the notification
  2. Lectures 😳 Absolutely fatal Just toss em a book. Thai students bored to tears Zzzzzzzzzzzz 🤤
  3. Can't think of seeing any here in Thailand I had so many from the 80s. They were stolen out of my car when I shipped it back to California. All original from record labels. Mostly British bands. Just find a poster and then have ai res it up. Output to file. Bring it to shop for printing
  4. Largely for regional market. I admit I don't know, but highly doubtful any of these exported to US. I wasn't discussing autos, they are sort of a special carve out. Something Thailand desperately clings to. Auto assembly hardly high tech. It's basically an expanded version of assembling electronics junk
  5. Touched a nerve did I? Makes perfect sense now
  6. Well then, it's balanced and nothing to worry about
  7. This is so wrong. The United States global perspective has been based upon allowing Nations to build themselves into democracies and free markets. It has used its Market to service that end. China is the absolute perfect textbook example of this. The policy despite having decades of practice has failed United States is not asking other countries to run surpluses. It is asking for balance trade. The trouble is nations can't even get to zero let alone a surplus. This is entirely disingenuous. Specifically, most nations cannot and will not run surpluses
  8. I did note rare earth correct? If the oil is cheap the US will buy it. All those products can be made elsewhere, in any country. In the end stop crying and be a big boy and just keep things status quo and accept the tarrifs. Canada what a fking mess
  9. I'd forgotten. Score 1. Huge + financially, huge negative socially. Have a few more?
  10. Perhaps the product wasn't actually made in USA? Last I'd read Thailand agreed to open market to all US goods although I'm uncertain whether that includes autos. It was stated that even doing this won't come close to resolving trade imbalance even with Thai goods, but the real issue is repackaging goods from China. That amounts to 24B USD sent to US alone
  11. Watch rice grow Watch rice dry on roads Watch paint crack in hot sun Watch the clock as you impatiently wait for bus to GTFO
  12. Right. Except there's plenty to buy. Agriculture, raw materials, energy. Don't buy anything? Fine, you're locked out of US market It's funny you post up this nonsense at the same time that every country on the planet is scrambling to sort out their tariff and trade issues with the United States. I can't think of anything that US needs from one particular county outside of rare earth minerals - can you?
  13. AI and technology are students only hope. Actually, plenty of smart Thai young men (some women) coming out of top 10 HS into top five unis to continue society as is. Loads of pretty young women groomed in BKK girls schools for mates. The system lives on. That's perfectly ok for the top 10%
  14. Not only that. Check the number of university students carrying a book bag? None. Even best university profs produce academic papers not books and almost always exclusively on Thai related subjects irrelevant to the world. That's how it's unis get such high QS rankings. Self bestowed PhDs Professors sell stolen photocopy handouts and digital pdfs. That's the course reading list. Thai is a old, tired, simple af language. Maybe it will survive with speech to text as there's no need for typing.
  15. Thailand is not a developing country. It's arguably been in decline for decades. It's a kleptocracy that guards it's markets (as the vast majority of nations). A tired, relic of the 20c... Export driven economies are getting wake up call. The US owes nothing to export driven, product dumping countries. Protect away lol. See where that goes. 🤷‍♂️👍
  16. 90% of farang teachers outside top tier int'l schools are complict. They offer zero education to students. Absolute waste of time for students * Same number of other foreign teachers SA, Philippines, Africans...95% Thailand needs them only due to the dearth of English teachers and lack of teachers in general Lazy, hapless. 35-45 and failed at everything? Overwhelmed by debt? Petty criminal? You can *teach* in Thailand!!
  17. Thailand doesn't really manufacturer much of anything of any substance. No value added, no innovation, no international brand outside of elephant pants. It's just an assembly plant for Chinas junk, some random cheap electronics.
  18. I'm quite disappointed by Aussie and especially kiwi beef tbh.
  19. How's that f35 purchase going for y'all?? No?? I'm shocked ! 🇨🇳👲 First combat 😭😂 By the numbers: Gripen 300 F16 4600 F18 F35 F47 https://theaviationist.com/2025/03/22/everything-we-know-boeing-f-47-ngad/
  20. Want to take my wife to London, but given the current state, the visa hassles, broken Heathrow we will wait it out London, Barcelona, Paris will be the last trips of our lives.
  21. JT there's nothing wrong with Trump's mind. This stupidity will soon go the way of all the other stupid, gay talking points. Since you pretty much relegated to back of the short bus in k12 I'll help you out: TACO No Kings Yup, those never really took off as memes like this one. Don't use them. The only more tiresome, dead meme is BLM Enjoy your day
  22. It will be interesting to see if Thailand honors the terms. It's not always simply a tarrif issue. There are many barriers to markets ... indirect barriers must come down and goods must flow in - this was clearly stated to all nations. Thailand, Germany, Korea, Japan ....
  23. Can't even manage questions from Leftist Jake Tapper 🤡🚗 https://www.rvmnews.com/2025/07/nancy-pelosi-completely-loses-it-after-insider-trading-question-during-cnn-interview-watch/ “Why do you have to read that?” Pelosi interrupted. “We’re here to talk about the 60th anniversary of Medicaid. That’s what I agreed to come to talk about
