End of an Era: Marks & Spencer Closing Down Across Thailand
Nicco replied to falangUK's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Hopefully, HM takes a hint. The cheapest, ugliest, heaviest clothes using the worst fabrics. Swear it's all made from Indian rag pickings. I don't even bother looking anymore -
Phnom Rung, Prasat Phi Mai. Khmer temples. Not nearly as good as the temple cluster in Siem Reap, but especially if you've never been to SRP I'd say worthwhile. Variety shows. Not necessarily native only to Issarn. They are tacky, often drunken good fun. If dry - dinner on mekhong. Nakon Phnom, Mukdahan, Nong Khai.

Where are the pictures ? 🤣

Praram9 and St Louis have best packages. I scoped them all in February. I paid 17k did much of what you are looking for including upper lower abdomen and stress test/s Doctor reading your results to you will tell you all is well even if there is underlying pattern of ill heath unfortunately. Gotta be able to understand, read and put the picture together yourself

I'd suggest unless you are in dire pain to give it ten days and do some mobility exercises focusing exclusively on lower back and that particular area. Couple that with hot water bottle a few times a day to that area. I'm now off NSAIDs (due to exercise), but if need be in order to exercise - I'd recommend for light pain Naproxen 250mg 3x a day or more serious Diclofenac 25mg 2x a day during this time. It might just be your body freaking out because of lack of exercise. Note: not good for kidneys. If you drink or whatever reason expect kidney issues you might falsely equate poor kidney tests for your problem. In reality, could be alcohol, weight and lack of exercise . Drink 3L water a day and eat whole foods ** I'm no health nut, but I've nearly cured all my back pain in one month from exercise. 45 minutes mobility, back exercises, 45-60 mins walking

Tourism Thailand's Tourism Industry Faces Pivotal Moment as Arrivals Decline
Nicco replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
All the Balinese are long gone. Decades ago. I would argue that they do, they need backpackers. I'd bet they at least spend equally as the Indians, Chinese and stay far longer. The government would probably do well by encouraging more of them. They just need to be more discerning. They can control the visa regiment so that improves markedly. At least the long stay crowd. I suppose they need to let most anyone in for two weeks a year. -

You obviously know nothing about Bangkok. Yes, Sukhumvit is a hole, especially lower. I can't believe that there are people that actually live and even own condos around 4 and Nana. Nevertheless, you can't judge the entire city by that main artery. You really love my little part of the city. I'm curious as to what cities you're comparing it to? Especially in June of 2025. Los Angeles? London? -

I've got no problems with weed, but that is ridiculous. I think even worse are the people that are smoking in very public places It's like everything in Thailand they just have an inability to regulate in large part because the Thai population has no respect for the elite, police, bureaucracy, politicians and the rule of law. -

There actually might be some truth to this. While Western countries are fairly liberal and their Outlook, Asian countries find the use of marijuana alarming and possibly highly criminal. It is used by the lowest rungs of the social ladder. I'm sure they don't want their children to see and be around people that are smoking the stuff and probably don't want to push their pram past weed shops. Then you have the people that are coming and going out of those shops that generally speaking look pretty sloppy Certainly not the only thing but I could see how your family would find it problematic and not return -

This is the industry that Thailand hangs it's hat on. There are so many options and possibilities yet the government's successively have an inability to restructure, innovate, execute. Moreover, while Chinese gangsters run amok around the nation - it bemoans the fact that fewer are coming. In fact it would appear the bottom has dropped out of that sector entirely. Now, Russians overtake even Indians as a primary country visiting Thailand The thought has never occurred to them to encourage long stay 50+ western foreigners. Instead, is next to impossible for even all Visa holders to open bank accounts, it's still impossible to legally own a tiny plot of land, the hospitals legally and routinely double and triple charge for services, the government and private sector goes out of its way to exclude foreigners from perks that would an exact same case it provided to a Thai. What is the extensions are still far more of a hassle and complicated than they need be. Last but certainly not least is the new taxation coming online. Foreigners will be taxed for staying a mere 180 days in the country and for this tax they will receive absolutely nothing in return except for the privilege to live in a somewhat lawless and rather chaotic country. One thing certain this government is absolutely helpless and nothing will be done until there is a change of government. This is yet another two years lost in addition to the 20 years prior to that. That's more than a generation of lost opportunity that Thailand will never have back I think the thing that bothers me the most about all the foreign criminality is that it ends up tarring all of us with the same brush. Vietnam well rapidly challenge Thailand in a number of industries and tourism is simply one of them. -
Whatever, I was on the wait list. Got my names, although only real competition was cousins and outside US. Hotmail was only hot for five years. Should be renamed to grandpamail.com or luddite.com Not to mention that Microsoft has to be one of the most invasive and evil IT mega corporation in the world. It seems to get worse every Windows update. Google isn't much better, but it is better. When I'm absolutely forced to make a Microsoft account I always choose outlook. Hotmail is the Skechers of email domains. By the by I get none of that stuff in either of my Gmail primary account. You've obviously given away your address to someone that you shouldn't have if it's strictly about sex and especially if it's related to Thailand

Thanks to everyone for encouragement and support. I'm feeling ten years younger and new lease on life.

So far this week. Today I was dragging ass and really lowered my avg speed. Yesterday same but I did 350 steps so that's ok. I jog the steps too. Not just walk up the stairs.
-
I've been jog walking for about two months. I do about 7-10k steps plus another 1-3k shopping daily or going to pub 1x a week. Of that I jog about one to 1.5km depending on how I feel. Once a week I do steps in MRT about 50 x 5 to 7 (250-300) plus walking. My legs in pretty good shape it's my upper body that needs work It's a slow joh in small steps. I stop start often. Try to get my heart up. I'm not training for triathlon

I don't have any of that equipment. Probably injure myself jumping into that routine. I'm out on a limb but gonna flag that as bad advice
-
If we are one upping one another - I snagged my Gmail accounts after Gmail was invite only w/ wait-list five years before that. Even at that time Hotmail was the MySpace of email.
