Not entirely true. The limit is 300 grams per passenger………. if you have more, you have to declare it, and better have a good reason for bringing it in. I was stopped because I claimed 450 grams, coming in from Phnom Penh, they asked me what the excess 150 grams were for. I told them my daughter was getting married and it was a marraige gift. After much deliberation they wrote something in my passport and let me pass thru, even my wife could not understand what they wrote, just some gibberish. One young immigration officer came along side of me and whispered ‘Good Excuse they would have confiscated anything over 300 grams'.

Yes he is doing everything he wanted to do and I already feel the benefits. Gas is down to $4.40 a gallon premium, Avocados from Mexico are now $9.00 for 6, when they used t be $5.50. Blackberries from Ecuador are now $9.99 a box, used to be $6.99…….yep, I am reaping the benefits of all this Taxation and Tariffs………. can't wait to see what he has in store for us next year.

I like this idea, going to talk to OziMoto in Jomtien to see if they can rig up something like this.

Not entirely off-topic but I have carpal tunnel in my wrists, I find the constant twisting of the handle to be very painful on long rides. Does anyone know of an alternative to the twist type gas. I once rented a motorcycle in Brazil and it had a foot pedal gas attachment. Anything like this in Thailand?
