I for one would like the Moderator to explain what the emoji’s definitions are The Thumbs Down emoji….is it thumbs down to the answer someone gives, is it thumbs down for the whole post, is it (as I suspect, being used to only harrase someone - it is obvious someone is using it discredit certain people, you can see thumbs down on dang near every post some people make All the rest are obvious,,,,,,I would like to see the Confused emoji reincarnated, because a lot of the posts, and answers to posts are definately confusing!!

Be advised - it is now taking up 8-13 weeks to receive a new passport, I am on week 10 and will receive mine (finally) this week from Passport Agency in Arizona. I talked to an agent in the Pspt Agency and she said they are over 35,000 applications behind, even the expedited application, which you pay for, is taking up to 8 weeks. So plan ahead.

I would like to apply for the Destination Thailand Visa, I am a frequent Thailand visitor and often stay a couple months at a time, usually arrive in Bangkok on the Visa Exempt program for US Citizens, and get an extension if needed. I am currently in US and nearest Thai Embassy is in Los Angelas, what do you know about the application process there?? I have been undergoing medical treatment for many years at Bumrungrad Hospital in Bangkok, have all my records and would like to apply for the DTV for medical Reasons. My ailments are lifelong and I get regular treatments. I plan to come to Thailand in November for about 3-4 months and would like the Visa approved before then. Can you help??

My last trip was a few years ago, but I used to get the One2Call, is that still an option?. Of course I never used my phone for much back then, maybe it is used much more these days. I am applying for the 6 month DTV before arrival, so what ‘Package” do you recommend, I would use it at least six months a year. My Condo has its own Cable TV, and I have a TOT Router for Internet/Wifi (that could change as I believe Fiber Optic is available in JomTien now. If that is the case, then I would probably go with a full package, TV/Inernet/Phone. Thank you in avance.

I meant he could have had it done in Dibai, lot’s of doctors there for the right price would make someone else look like you, down to the number of creases around the eyes.

What makes you think he is not still there, could be a body double in Prison and Mr T is languishing in Dubai. Only a DNA test will prove otherwise. Cheers

Well, that sums it up nicely, I have never used the Mobile App, I do not use my phone for banking - YET. I am well versed on new technology and safety issues and non-issues, but still dont trust using my phone for any financial transactions. No need. I am quite happy using an ATM or going inside a bank. Now thats a great selling point, ever think of going into Real Estate?? I bought both my condos thru SCB Bank, no lawyers, no Agents, only me, cash & the bank.

Chiang Mai is my target site, once I sell my two condos in Pattaya, I will move up there. I’ll pbly rent for a year during different seasons to determine where or if, I’d like to buy. Thailand is my second home. Any suggestions?? I can survive in either Farang land or Thai Land, speak pasable Thai, English, and a smattering of French, Spanish or German.

I have an SCB Account for over 25 years both Thai Baht and USD but have been out of country for a few years due to family problems, planning return permanently end of this year. My question is, does this Facial Recognition app appear on ATM’s?? I have my debit card and was planning on using it at Airport upon landing, will this still be possible?? I know the account is still active, as I have been sending money to it to pay Condo fees and they have been auto-paying my Electricity Bill every month for my Condo. I used to have a 20,000 per day limit on my card, assuming it still works, I should be able to withdraw at ATM in Airport Right ?????
