  1. Oh no, not another Chinese Thai PM. They are never good for farang.
  2. This thread has nothing to do with Jews as a people or Judaism as a religion. The issue being discussed here is the actions of the Israeli government today. Criticizing or condemning state policies - especially allegations of genocide - is not the same as blaming Jews or fueling antisemitism. Drawing a parallel with the Holocaust confuses the issue. The Nazis targeted Jews simply for existing; today’s debate is about the conduct of a government in an ongoing conflict. Equating criticism of Israel with hatred of Jews risks shutting down legitimate discussion and silences those who are speaking out against human rights violations. No one is denying the reality of antisemitism or the suffering Jews have faced throughout history. But conflating that with political criticism of Israel distracts from the urgent matter at hand: accountability for present-day actions that affect millions of people.
  3. The U.S. did not commit genocide in WWII because the Allied bombings were aimed at defeating enemy governments, not exterminating Germans or Japanese as peoples. Genocide is defined by intent, not just by civilian deaths. By contrast, the Nazis were committing genocide — murdering millions of Jews simply because they were Jews. The Allied victory stopped that genocide. That’s why it’s absurd for Alan Dershowitz to suggest that accusations against Israel somehow imply the Allies were guilty of genocide. How could the very forces that defeated the Nazi genocide of Jews be accused of committing it themselves? To frame it that way is an embarrassment to his fellow Jews and a distortion of history. Senior members of the Israeli cabinet have said exactly what their intent is, leading to the UK sanctioning them. Here are some quotes, google Smotrich and Ben Gvir and you can see many more. Israeli minister says it may be ‘moral’ to starve 2 million Gazans, but ‘no one in the world would let us’ https://edition.cnn.com/2024/08/06/middleeast/israeli-minister-smotrich-starve-gazans-intl Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich shared his vision for the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, predicting that within half a year, the population of the territory would be confined to just a narrow swath of land, with the remainder of the enclave “totally destroyed.” https://www.timesofisrael.com/smotrich-says-gaza-to-be-totally-destroyed-population-concentrated-in-small-area/ Far-right Israeli government minister Ben-Gvir believes that Israeli soldiers must shoot Palestinian women and children in Gaza to stop 'another October 7'. https://www.newarab.com/news/ben-gvir-says-israeli-army-can-shoot-women-children-gaza
  4. Didn’t he also defend Jeffery Epstein?
  5. Is that all you can say about my post? For some reason those sites are asking me to pay to subscribe, maybe you paid the $2 before.
  6. 100% Likud (Netanyahu’s party) – firmly rejects a two-state solution under Netanyahu’s leadership. Religious Zionism alliance (Itamar Ben-Gvir, Bezalel Smotrich) – openly calls for annexation of the West Bank and opposes Palestinian statehood entirely. Shas and United Torah Judaism (ultra-Orthodox parties) – generally back right-wing governments that block concessions. Far-right settler movements – push for permanent expansion of settlements and resist any land-for-peace deal.
  7. Selective use of quotes does not erase obligations under international law. Maybe Hamas leaders have made statements glorifying “martyrdom” and openly justifying civilian sacrifice but the links you provide are not viewable unless you pay. Quoting them out of context to suggest that all Palestinian civilian deaths are somehow Hamas’s responsibility ignores the fact that Israel, as the occupying military force, remains legally obligated to protect civilians. International humanitarian law applies regardless of what the enemy says or does. Genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes are judged by the actions and intent of the party committing them. Israel cannot claim innocence by pointing to Hamas’s actions. International law does not allow “they wanted us to do it” as a defense. Each side bears responsibility for its own conduct, not the rhetoric of its opponent.
  8. Fair enough but I think you do deny it, which are entitled to. 1.5 years ago, those calling it genocide were shunned, now those denying genocide are shunned, go figure, what has changed? I searched leaders of that organization and they are indeed experts. pro Israel people are clutching at straws now to prove it isn’t genocide.
  9. Poor denial attempt of the current obvious genocide.
  10. Many people hate Muslims/Christians etc. You are paranoid. You calling the ongoing genocide, “issue”, is horrible.
  11. It’s interesting but not really a fair debate.
  12. No, Palestinians are fighting for their survival but they have no chance militarily. Luckily, the world will stop what Israel are trying to do, make Gaza and WB unliveable so all of them volantaril Leave, which will never happen. Show some humanity and compassion for the Palestinians, they’ve been persecuted for decades by Israel.
  13. Do you think people hate Israel because of religious reasons or what they are currently doing in Gaza and West Bank?
  14. Ah, so you admit it now, that’s progress. Incredible some are still trying,, unsuccessfully to defend the indefensible.
  15. Israel’s strategic interventions in Sudan, mostly through support of southern rebel groups contributed to the intensit of civil conflict. It’s fair to say Israel bears some indirect responsibility for exacerbating the conflict. Of course the US did most the dirty stuff on Israel’s behalf.
  16. Simple question- does Israel want peace? I say most definitely not.
  17. Could the war in Sudan be due to Israel?
  18. One negative thing, the gym has air con, not so much sweating. Maybe join a sauna too.
  19. Thanks,. I was in a drugstore the other day and the person next to me bought Gabapentin, which surprised me as this is addictive and a usable.
  20. Maybe the girl was responsible for the weight loss 😉
  21. I see, so do running one day, the step thing another, or weights, skipping.
  22. Thanks, I’ll investigate but a bit wary as my wife was on some pills years back and there was a boomerang effect, I think it was amphetamine based medicine.
  23. I don’t care about the amount of, more getting rid of the belly, I’m not fat in other areas of body.
  24. I joined a gym a few days ago and have unlimited usage for 3 months, my wife too. She wants to go nearly every day, she’s overweight too. I fell going 2/3 days in a row is maybe not a good idea at my age, but maybe ok for her, being 10 years my junior. Can a 68-year old lose more weight going to do aerobic exercise every day or alternate days, or other?
