Flood of Chinese Green Tech Is Upending Global Climate Politics
Take it up with Britman Too. He's the one who claims leftists are driving up the cost of batteries.

Flood of Chinese Green Tech Is Upending Global Climate Politics
It must feel so liberating just to spout claims off the top of your head. As for leftist governments, I assume that you are referring to a government headed by that arch socialist Donald Trump who has imposed huge tariffs on imports from China, by far the largest source of battery manufacturers in the world. So, maybe you're making a good point after all.

Flood of Chinese Green Tech Is Upending Global Climate Politics
I remember when right wingers were shedding tears over their dogma that developing nations were going to suffer because of green tech. That fossil fuels were the way to go for development. I imagine that now they will be jumping for joy over the fact that their fears were unfounded. That, in fact, green tech is not just better for the environment, but better for economic development as well.

Flood of Chinese Green Tech Is Upending Global Climate Politics
As the United States torpedoes climate action and Europe struggles to realize its green ambitions, a surprising shift is taking hold in many large, fast-growing economies where a majority of the world’s people live. Countries like Brazil, India, and Vietnam are rapidly expanding solar and wind power. Poorer countries like Ethiopia and Nepal are leapfrogging over gasoline-burning cars to battery-powered ones. https://archive.ph/zwW33

Trump appointee fired ethics workers investigating ally
Housing official Bill Pulte fired ethics workers who were looking into his ally President Donald Trump’s firebrand housing finance director, Bill Pulte, fired internal watchdogs at Fannie Mae who were looking into multiple complaints against a high-ranking company officer close to him, according to people familiar with the matter. Pulte said last month he had fired dozens of Fannie Mae employees in what he said included a bid to end diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives at the mortgage giant. Yet six people familiar with the matter said those firings effectively cleared out the company’s internal watchdogs, charged with ensuring Fannie and its officials follow the law. https://archive.ph/Uk1Dp#selection-383.0-399.247 Same clown who instigated the farcical prosecution of Letitia James. The White House has targeted opponents, including a Fed governor, for having more than one primary residence on their loan papers. ProPublica found that, in one case, a Trump cabinet secretary got two such mortgages in quick succession. https://www.propublica.org/article/trump-cabinet-mortgage-fraud

McCarthy: DOJ indictments baseless & vindictive
Thanks for the deflection. The fact is when it comes to this case you offer nothing but whining and irrelevancies.

McCarthy: DOJ indictments baseless & vindictive
McCarthy's point is that allegations of Comey's wrongdoing may have genuine merit, none of that was relevant to the charges against him. So, basically, the purpose of this document was to slime him. Which is not what such a document is supposed to do. Kind of self-defeating, really. If you're confused, read the article. It will clear things up for you.

McCarthy: DOJ indictments baseless & vindictive
The Trump DOJ’s Vindictive Reply to Comey’s Claim of Vindictive Prosecution This week thus produced one of the most bizarre submissions to a court that I’ve seen from the Justice Department (which is saying something after more than 40 years of working in and then closely following the DOJ’s doings. https://archive.ph/ShZl2

Russia turns inward to target pro-war figures
You called me a Soros worshiper after my rejoinder to your allegation that I hate America. Or were you just Touretting?
-
Russia turns inward to target pro-war figures
Can you share with us some comments from George Soros where he says he hates the United States?

Europe & Canada Finally Saying No to the F-35 Stealth Fighters
This is the kind of comment that I would expect from an ignoramus.
-
Russia turns inward to target pro-war figures
You're the one who accused me of being anti-American because I noted the fact that the Trump administration is trying to sanitize America's history.
-
Russia turns inward to target pro-war figures
You must have a very low opinion of America to believe that being ignorant of its history is the only way to love it.
-
Europe & Canada Finally Saying No to the F-35 Stealth Fighters
Another person who claims to be a mind reader for Donald Trump. But if it was trolling, wasn't it moronic for him to do engage in it?
-
Europe & Canada Finally Saying No to the F-35 Stealth Fighters
You may have a point. Might be a deterrent to Trump's trying to turn it into the 51st state.

Russia turns inward to target pro-war figures
Actually, american history has been a lot more murderous since Ukraine gained its independence than the Ukraines'.

America’s Fake Economy Built on Saudi Oil and Endless Debt
No, the US doesn't do the same. Its currency floats freely and it has not been subjected to capital controls.

Senators reach tentative deal to end the government shutdown
The only case I could find Where Nancy pelosi delayed swearing in a Republican representative is when there was a really close election (6 votes) and the results were being disputed in court.

Europe & Canada Finally Saying No to the F-35 Stealth Fighters
The fifth-generation F-35 stealth fighter is the most advanced fighter aircraft in the world, with over 1,200 produced and in service with more than 20 countries worldwide. However, European nations are reevaluating their F-35 purchases due to concerns about strategic autonomy and a desire to strengthen their own defense industries. Other factors include concerns about US influence and reliability due to political friction, such as President Trump’s demands on defense spending for NATO countries and trade policies, which have led to fears of restricted access to critical software, upgrades, and parts. https://nationalsecurityjournal.org/europe-and-canada-are-finally-saying-no-to-the-f-35-stealth-fighter/

He just can't stop lying
No. You're paying $2 for gas. Or are you calling President Trump a liar? For shame on you!

Senators reach tentative deal to end the government shutdown
One unfortunate consequence for the Republicans of this deal is that Speaker Johnson will have to call the House back into session. Which means he's going to have to swear in (and swear at?) the new Democratic representative from New Mexico. Which means that the votes are in place for the house to pass their version of a bill to force the Justice Dept to release most of the Epstein files. I's sure all those people who accused various Democrats of figuring in those files will be thrilled.

Senators reach tentative deal to end the government shutdown
Senators struck an agreement Sunday, projecting confidence that it will be sufficient to end the lengthy U.S. government shutdown, three sources with direct knowledge of the details told NBC News. The agreement, reached by a group of Democrats who teamed up with Republicans, should have the necessary 60 votes to clear the Senate, these sources said. It would then need to pass the House and earn President Donald Trump's signature to become law and reopen the government. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/congress/senators-reach-tentative-deal-end-government-shutdown-rcna242401 I think it's about time. The Democrats have made very clear where the Republicans stand on Obamacare.

Russia turns inward to target pro-war figures
I never claimed the Jews killed Jesus. That's irrelevant. What is relevant is that there are people who do believe that. What I have often claimed is that you need a remedial course in reading. Your latest comment only confirms the truth of the observation. Disrespecting Americans for the acts of their ancestors is bigoted. What's just as bigoted is denying or hiding the fact that their ancestors did enslave Africans. National park to remove photo of enslaved man’s scars The Trump administration is ordering the removal of information on slavery at multiple national parks in an effort to scrub them of “corrosive ideology.” The latest orders include removing information at Harpers Ferry National Historic Park in West Virginia, two people familiar with the matter said, where the abolitionist John Brown led a raid seeking to arm slaves for a revolt. Staff have also been told that information at the President’s House Site in Philadelphia, where George Washington kept slaves, does not comply with the policy, according to a third individual. https://www.washingtonpost.com/climate-environment/2025/09/15/national-parks-slavery-information-removal/ If you're still claiming that Ukrainians are scum, that means you are still a bigot.

There is nothing in this link that contradicts what I wrote.

America’s Fake Economy Built on Saudi Oil and Endless Debt
Whether or not the Chinese care is irrelevant. It's people who trade in commodities who care. And if they can't get at their money becauseof the legitimate fear that the Chinese may abruptly decide to impose capital controls or if the Chinese decide to freeze the value of the yuan, they're not going to trade in the Yuan. And there isn't enough of the other currencies to satisfy world demand even if their governments were trusted.
