I also understand that despite the fact that the prosecutor was advocating for an indictment with no one to oppose her,she only got 14 of 23 jurors to go along on the other 2 charges. Do you understand that in a criminal trial the verdict of the jury has to be unanimous? That doesn't bode well for the prosecution.

The point being that he was not an overwhelmingly popular choice. And keep in mind that he gave the appearance of repudiating Project 2025 because of its unpopularity but once in office he has green lit most of it.
