  1. No. I don't just accept what AI says. As I already wrote:
  2. So when you're looking for relevant information on the internet, do you use telepathy? Because search engines have been so gamed to gain hits with the result that they are a lot less useful than they used to be.
  3. When it goes against his political interests, that's a very compelling reason to believe him.
  4. The system was designed to have a President coerce a prosecution?
  5. What press release was that? All that was offered b y Yagoda was a tweet that the manufacturer said they didn't recommend that pregnant women take any of their products. Why don't you understand that is not the same as recommending not to take any of their products?
  6. If you choose low bars to clear, that's your right. Just as it's mine to point out how useless such low bars are.
  7. And stopping it and rewinding and playing it again and again. And then cutting and pasting how? As for AI, anybody who doesn't ask it for links deserves to get false answers. Do you have a problem asking it for links and checking what those links lead to?
  8. But it is possible to fact check something you produce as evidence. In fact, given the resources at hand, it's easier than ever.
  9. It's not harder? You mean it's just as easy to rewind a video as it is to move your eyeballs? And do the same a third or fourth time? And if you want to check the validity of what has been uttered All you have to do is cut and paste it into a search engine or AI. It seems clear you don't have much experience questioning what it is you view on videos. Your taking at face value that video snippet of Trump and alleged disrespect supports my point.
  10. As I think was already explained to you "to not recommend is not the same thing as "to recommend not to". It should be clear to anyone with a reasonable command of English that they were stating a general and legally prudent policy. It's clear that they weren't singling out Tylenol.
  11. First off, why should I devote so much time to listening to something that could take a minute or 2 to read? Especially when it's likely to be BS. Second, it's a lot harder to fact check a video. Unlike most right-wing video fans here I don't just listen passively and accept what is said on a vvideo. Especially given the large number of falsehoods it's likely to contain.
  12. You still haven't explained why you think Brady Material is relevant to this case. It seems to indicate that if anyone doesn't understand Brady material, what it is, and what it isn't, it's you.
  13. Because Trump made the claim then it must be true?
  14. You got a link to evidence to back that claim up?
  15. Well, it's certainly classic Trump and of a piece with his general ignorance and curious love of carbon.
  16. Why are right wingers so allergic to reading? Are there no texts you can offer that address this issue? I think the reason right wingers are so enamored of videos is that they are more difficult to fact check.
  17. As usual you're shedding heat, not light.
  18. In this case what idiotic question was he being asked?
  19. I said nothing personal about you. My comment was entirely about the validity of your comment.
  20. At least one Federal judge disagrees with your understanding of the Posse Comitatus Act. President Donald Trump’s deployment of the military to Los Angeles violated federal laws and his use of the armed forces must be heavily curtailed in California, a federal judge ruled today in a 52-page opinion that inveighed against the president’s belief that he has unchecked powers to send the military into U.S. cities. “There were indeed protests in Los Angeles, and some individuals engaged in violence,” wrote Charles Breyer, the judge overseeing the trial. “Yet there was no rebellion, nor was civilian law enforcement unable to respond to the protests and enforce the law.” https://calmatters.org/justice/2025/09/trump-national-guard-posse-comitatus/
  21. The topic is Trump Rapid Escalation To An Authoritarian State. I don't see any reference to Jingthing there. Maybe you should start a thread on Jingthing. See how long that one lasts.
  22. Make it personal is the last resort of a know-nothing.
  23. More nonsense from you. No, Portland isn't in disorder with Antifa rampant. At least in the case of the Reichstag fire there really was a fire. Since June 2025, more than two dozen people have been arrested in connection with protests outside Portland's ICE building on the south waterfront. Most of the arrests occurred in the first month. The protests have generally decreased in size over time with reduced levels of confrontation, and law enforcement has maintained a watchful security presence at the building. https://www.kgw.com/article/news/local/trump-seems-to-back-off-portland-military-plan/283-e9c6bdfb-92d6-4881-bb74-09bb325a5270
