  1. Trump is going to celebrate the lowering of the debt by even if increasing it more than it otherwise would have been? Do you understand the debt has already been increasing under Trump? And that instead of applying the funds from the tariffs to lowering the debt, he wants to give it away? Which by the way, as you clearly don't know, isn't even within his power to do so.
  2. I think you mean the fake US attorney Halligan who has finally given up pretending she's a US attorney.
  3. It's pretty obvious that there's a difference between being a tourist and being an expat.
  4. Trump Calls Renee Good’s Killing a ‘Tragedy’ and Says ICE Agents Will Make Mistakes Just hours after she was killed on Jan. 7, Mr. Trump falsely claimed that Ms. Good “violently, willfully, and viciously ran over the ICE officer” and said that she had “behaved horribly.” He later said Ms. Good, a poet and a mother of three, had a “highly disrespectful” attitude toward law enforcement and suggested that it justified her killing. Trump administration officials, including Kristi Noem, the secretary of homeland security, were quick to accuse Ms. Good of being a “domestic terrorist.” https://archive.ph/bwJUo Maybe some MAGA supporting members of aseanow.com can set Trump straight?
  5. I don't need to bet on the fact that you're making it personal. And the reason you're making it personal? That's because you've got nothing.
  6. That's why Trump hates the EU so much? Because of his deep concern for European nations?
  7. In an astonishing article, the Russian government paper is full of praise for Trump and critical of European leaders who oppose a US annexation of Greenland. "Standing in the way of the US president's historic breakthrough is the stubbornness of Copenhagen and the mock solidarity of intransigent European countries, including so-called friends of America, Britain and France," writes Rossiyskaya Gazeta. "Europe does not need the American greatness that Trump is promoting. Brussels is counting on 'drowning' the US president in the midterm congressional elections, on preventing him from concluding the greatest deal of his life." "Greatest deal"? The reporter explains what he means. I have to keep reminding myself I am reading the Russian government newspaper, not a pro-Trump publication in America. "If Trump annexes Greenland by July 4 2026, when America celebrates the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, he will go down in history as a figure who asserted the greatness of the United States," writes Rossiyskaya Gazeta. The Russians understand Trump's deranged neediness when it comes to praise. There's nothing that could please them more than the impending split between the USA and most of Europe.
  8. Here's Robert Rubin, former Treasury Secretary with an answer for you in the form of questions to leaders of the US business community: "Imagine if, a decade ago, I told you a future president would do the following within the span of a year: create domestic instability with campaigns of political retribution; issue sweeping pardons for allies who break the law; adopt a foreign-policy doctrine favoring military action for the explicit purpose of seizing other nations’ resources, threatening not only adversaries but North Atlantic Treaty Organization allies; attack the legal immigration system and universities; and undermine the rule of law on which our rights and property depend. Further, he would demand government ownership stakes in large American companies; take a share of export proceeds in exchange for lifting export controls; cancel public investment already approved by Congress; unilaterally raise tariffs, often for reasons that have nothing to do with the economy; demand private companies hire or fire executives for political reasons; sow distrust in government economic data; attempt to fire a member of the Federal Reserve Board without due process; and threaten his critics, including business leaders, with retribution, including financial penalties and criminal prosecution. https://archive.ph/qDhS1
  9. Trump threatens 200 percent tariffs on French wine after Macron snubs peace board U.S. President Donald Trump threatened to impose 200 percent tariffs on French wine and Champagne late Monday in response to Emmanuel Macron rejecting his offer to join the “Board of Peace” tasked with overseeing the next steps in Gaza. Informed by a reporter that the French president had said he wouldn’t join the board because of concerns about its powers, Trump dismissed Macron as lacking influence and said he would be “out of office in a few months.” "I'll put a 200 percent tariff on his wines and Champagnes, and he'll join, but he doesn't have to join," Trump said during a huddle with the media. https://www.politico.eu/article/us-president-donald-trump-threatens-tarrifs-french-wine-emmanuel-macron-peace-board/
  10. According to your way of thinking there's a lot of left-leaning people out there: https://www.realclearpolling.com/polls/approval/donald-trump/approval-rating https://www.natesilver.net/p/trump-approval-ratings-nate-silver-bulletin
  11. That makes it so much more intelligent.
  12. And should he ask you to, could you provide proof of that claim?
  13. On the other hand, who's the most enthusiastic supporter of Delcy Rodriguez, Maduro's right hand woman, in the West? A fair case could be offered that it's Donald Trump: ‘She’s a terrific person’: Trump praises Maduro loyalist leading Venezuela President Donald Trump appears to be getting along well with the close ally of Nicolás Maduro who’s now in charge in Venezuela. Trump and interim President Delcy Rodríguez spoke by phone Wednesday and both leaders described the call in positive terms. https://www.politico.com/news/2026/01/14/trump-delcy-rodriguez-venezuela-00730397
  14. Six percent of Americans satisfied with amount of Epstein files released so far: Poll The share of Americans who are satisfied with the amount of Jeffrey Epstein-related files released so far is in the single digits, new polling shows. Just 6 percent of Americans in a CNN survey said they’re satisfied with what the federal government has released so far in the case of Epstein, the late convicted sex offender, including 12 percent of Republicans and just 3 percent each of Democrats and independents. Roughly two-thirds of Americans said they think the federal government is intentionally holding back Epstein-related information that should come out, compared to 16 percent who said the government is doing its best to release all the information it can. https://thehill.com/homenews/5695988-epstein-files-satisfaction-low/
  15. Well, the decision by Marshall wouldn't apply to Greenland. There were a series of cases starting in 1901 that drew a distinction between incorporated and unincorporated territories. These cases are known as the insular cases. Basically, the court ruled that residents of unincorporated territories don't enjoy the the same protections afforded by the Constitution as do residents of the United States. So, unless the USA plans to treat Greenland as a prospective state, those rights wouldn't be guaranteed. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Insular_Cases
  16. Negligent Daddy? "Trump Neglects Economy by Focusing on Foreign Affairs"... Over Half of U.S. Voters Dissatisfied A recent poll found that more than half of American voters believe President Donald Trump is focusing excessively on foreign affairs rather than the economy. According to an in-house survey conducted by The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) of 1,500 registered voters, 53% of respondents said that President Trump is sacrificing the U.S. economy by concentrating on overseas issues such as Iran and Venezuela. https://cm.asiae.co.kr/en/article/2026011716295289815
  17. And I think that most Venezuelans probably don't share Trump's opinion of Maduro's right hand woman, Delcy Rodriguez, that she's a tremendous person. But then, most Venezuelans probably don't share Trump's affection for autocrats, either.
  18. Now this is just plain sad.
  19. Also, since the link runs into a firewall, I wasn't able to confirm from the article when the pole was taken. According to AI, it was taken from January 9th to the 13th. Guess what happened on January 14th? ‘She’s a terrific person’: Trump praises Maduro loyalist leading Venezuela “We are making tremendous progress, as we help Venezuela stabilize and recover,” Trump said in a social media post. “This partnership between the United States of America and Venezuela will be a spectacular one FOR ALL. Venezuela will soon be great and prosperous again, perhaps more so than ever before!” His remarks, echoed by Rodríguez, are somewhat of a surprise after the U.S. launched a raid into Venezuela less than two weeks ago to seize Maduro and haul him to New York to face charges in an alleged drug-trafficking conspiracy. https://www.politico.com/news/2026/01/14/trump-delcy-rodriguez-venezuela-00730397
  20. Let's see how they feel about it in a year: "While Trump’s intervention catalyzed hope, most Venezuelans signaled they seek a rapid transition to democracy, not prolonged foreign oversight. The poll showed two-thirds want new presidential elections, and 91 percent of those urge them to happen within a year, which is much quicker than the Trump administration has signalled publicly. Venezuelans also expressed mixed preferences regarding the management of the country’s vital oil industry, with just over a quarter favoring U.S. control, about a third preferring the Venezuelan government, and nearly 30 percent opting for private companies." https://www.newsweek.com/trump-boost-poll-venezuelans-11357476 Can you point out anywhere where Trump has signaled that he wants to make their preferences a reality?
  21. There was a time when I would have said that you don't look like the FBI. But given its greatly lowered standards, I would say that how you kind of do. You have nothing,
  22. You know how to tell just how crazy this note it? Up to know, I can't find any mention of it at foxnews.com.
  23. Please share with the rest of us the evidence you have that shows that Walz profited from any corruption anywhere. I won't hold my breath waiting.
