  1. Clearly showing that you are unacquainted with the concept of margin of error.
  2. https://news.gallup.com/poll/696635/neither-party-dominates-favorability-trust.aspx?utm_source=chatgpt.com Not exactly a huge difference.
  3. If he was holding a phone? It was his phone.
  4. Well, get back to me when Venezuela launches a military invasion against foreign nations.
  5. So, now you've appointed yourself the judge of who won? Maybe it's not so surprising that with a self-interested standard like yours, you believe that Donald Trump is trying to drain the swamp instead of being the President with the most conflicts of interest out of virtually all past Presidents.
  6. You need to explain that comment. What party have I defended for attacking for launching an attack because of the presence of foreign armed forces in another country?
  7. Stop with the mind reading. Maybe to your way of thinking a woman calmly and rather cheerfully saying "That's fine dude. I'm not mad at you." is somehow threatening. But it's ludicrous. And you fail to acknowledge that he should not have positioned himself in front of the car. That's a huge no-no in law enforcement.. As is holding a camera in one hand and a gun in the other. Elsewhere you've noted that his experience with being dragged by a car may have contributed to this. That's the kind of thing a defense lawyer would use to defend a client from criminal charges. But as a comment on his behavior as on agent of ICE, it's damning.
  8. One could argue it but that would be wrong. Is Venezuela a puppet state of Cuba? Obvously not. It looks more like what both governments regarded as a mutually beneficial relationship. Does the US have the right to attack any country outside of Cuba where Cuban military troops are present?
  9. You seem to be under the impression that there is such a thing as a private conversation here. I've got news for you. This is an open forum. Of course, you can choose not to reply to someone who calls you on the basis of your facts or reasoning. But how that differs from evasion is not at all clear.
  10. Killing people suspected of crimes is legitimate? Or are you claiming that they are proven criminals but only the boats they pilot are suspected?
  11. So Thailand is now the standard by which to judge the validity of US policy. That's not a strange idea.
  12. So, how do you know that the assistance has merely been delayed and ultimately will be forthcoming? What is there about Trump's previous conduct tells you that this is the case? And, of course, your comment begs the question of why it's legitimate to conduct such negotiations over natural resources in the first place? If the argument that stopping Russian aggression isn't worthwhile, why does the addition of natural resources make it so?
  13. More nonsense from you. First off, from claiming that Trump will go ahead full bore without offering any qualifications, now you're claiming it's about draining the swamp. And I'm not going to get sidetracked by how demonstrably ridiculous that claim is. But no, the President doesn't run the country. I have no doubt he would like to. Another ridiculous "strong man" claim.
  14. Apart from the fact that you completely disregard the issue of funding among other things, you then provide a counterexample that undercuts your argument about how the president is going to go ahead full bore.
  15. Another common that shows when you've got nothing make it personal.
  16. Then why did you claim that the President was going to go ahead full bore with his program regardless of what happens in the 2026 midterms?
  17. I'm not sure why. They're not particularly reluctant to justify, and even celebrate, such slaughter.
  18. You claimed that Trump was going to go full bore ahead and it's me who doesn't understand how the US government works? Do you have any familiarity with the US Constitution. And if your understanding is correct, how does that differ from a dictatorship?
  19. Your version of the incident is tendentious to say the least. But I'm not going to wade into it with you. Suffice it to say that agent in question violated at least 2 protocol rules by positioning himself in front of the vehicle, holding a gun in one hand and a cellphone recording the incident in another. Vice President JD Vance said during a Thursday news conference that the ICE agent who fired the shots was involved in a harrowing incident six months prior in which he was dragged by a car and required 33 stitches to his leg. He might be "a little bit sensitive about somebody ramming him with an automobile," Vance said https://www.foxnews.com/politics/expert-warns-painting-slain-anti-ice-activist-george-floyd-will-fail.amp This sounds more like someone making a case for a defense in court rather than justifying the agent's conduct. As for "ramming", this guy must be Superman since he walked away from the incident with no noticeable limp.
  20. You want some comment? Clearly Zelensky is attempting to placate Trump who has cut off virtually all US assistance to Ukraine.
  21. Your understanding of how the US government functions differs how from a dictatorship?
  22. Please. Trump repeatedly cited removing dangerous criminals as a justification for his program. In fact, a big reason Americans have turned against the program is the fact that most Americans believed that that they would be the target and not peaceful illegals who lived and worked in the USA. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/cbs-news-poll-trump-deportation-program-prices/ ANd of course, the Americans who approve of ICE has plummeted even further since this poll was taken.
  23. Have you looked lately at polling about how the public views ICE? I'll give you a hint. It's way down. And the Trump adminstration trying to label this woman as a domestic terrorist clearly isn't helping their cause. Although I have to say those last 8 words she said are pretty terrifying "That's fine, dude. I'm not mad at you." https://archive.ph/GUxOV
  24. “Construction can’t continue”: South Texas builders say ICE arrests have upended industry ICE agents have arrested more than 9,100 people in South Texas — nearly one-fifth of all such arrests in the entire state since Trump took office, according to government data provided by ICE in response to a FOIA request to the Deportation Data Project and analyzed by the Texas Tribune. Without enough workers, construction has slowed, sending a ripple effect throughout the economy. Economists suggest that this will drive housing costs up — even as Texas officials focus on bringing such costs down. https://www.texastribune.org/2025/12/24/south-texas-ice-arrests-home-construction/
  25. I hadn't thought of that. That's an excellent point.
