I reported Koh Chang immigration to 1178 for charging 100b for 90 report and wanting 2,300 for a new extension, I got a visit from one of them, they also falsely told Trat immigration that I had complained about them, totally untrue, and kept getting phone calls from them, so I had to go there and sign 'papers' to withdraw my complaint that I never made, nothing more than harassment if you complain, yes it may not be a lot of money, but its the principle, using the ferry price as a lever to pay these 'fees', ( they even pointed out that they have aircon ) but on the upside I don't have to pay their 'fee' now.

Just ignore it, easy to log in using a card reader, and any UK bank card reader will do, (presuming you have a current atm card.)

You don't even need a passport to open an account, so why would they ask you, Passports are not mandatory ....yet.

Yes I'll agree with that I've never known a year like this for rain, and most staff were/are Cambodians, take a look opposite the BKK international clinic, the army have a 'bomb' shelter using tyres, bit overkill IMO. (no pun intended 😀)

The water here is like a washing machine at the moment, IMO not a good time for snorkeling, but you may find a calm beach to swim in.

I just renewed my ATM card at the Bangkok bank, a few days ago, nothing was mentioned to me at the time, but now I find out they have closed that branch 🙁 the 'war' is causing many businesses closing through lack of customers 😞
