I don't eat farang food although I understand all other farang can't eat Thai food. Thai food is delicious, cheap and keeps me slim 2006 would be wild years for me. Today, I'm fifteen years married. Not necessarily better, but different. As for the scene...the women are even less attractive and even older now. I've not been to Pattaya since 09, but I'm guessing the women in the pubs are mid at best and not cheap. Online might be the better venue I've no idea. Being married I certainly can't make a profile an find out. The women on soi 4 are old and fat and those are the sluts in the pubs not the street...all the pubs really everywhere. Fatties. The price of alcohol is now ridiculous To wrap this up, I recall very wild nights in Nana and Pattaya 95-2005. From what I see that really cannot be replicated. Maybe with stupid amounts of money. There's absolutely no salvaging it. Nevertheless, the Israelis and world Jews continue to double and triple down on speech, etc which only further hardens opinions. It's a mess and it's a genocide and there's just no getting around that. IDF numbers have put the deaths over 70k. They're willingly accept that number because the real number is actually 20% higher. Meanwhile, Hamas the terrorist organization in which the Israelis actually created still exists. I find it absolutely unconscionable and unforgivable.

This is a large part of my mental make-up. I still get upset at stupid shi+ quickly, still look for solutions when best to hold two minds. I do have far more patience. But I've completely assimilated. My mannerisms, chat. When I go back I miss so much about Asia and embrace very little of the US... especially living in BKK. I like how transit is clean and polite as long as tourists not involved About the only thing I really like is the quiet, walking in my friends clean neighborhoods, parks and green spaces. Some purchases at Costco. I don't miss the food at all. Maybe cheap cheese and wine, but that's nothing Even Laguna beach...meh. Islands in S Thailand are paradise Want to live in California and other high tax states? You will work forever!!!

Man, I thought you were going to bring up some serious stuff when I read the title. It all needs to be weighed against what you have and what you expect to have (last) in your home country. The only thing I am concerned about is hospitalization. Yet, any serious hospitalization, serious chronic illness would bankrupt me in US as well. I'm healthy at 65. While Thailand has doubled in price in the last twenty years it's still miles cheaper than price gouging USA I have a lovely wife and a good life here. I love the food, markets, malls and all the pretty girlies everywhere...side chicks 🧨 It's far better base to travel internationally than California Most everything is very convenient and you can get things done fast and cheap. I love my simple life I'm a dead ender. Hopefully, by 70 I'll never need to go back. Not to mention I'd given up on the place decades before. Saw all the anti white, anti male rubbish coming like a freight train. California ffs. First filled up with nasty people from East Coast and then immigrants with no intention of assimilation unlike say the immigrants of the 60-70s. I'm getting a great pension for what I'd paid in and that's the way it was planned. I knew it wasn't going to last decades ago. So long suckers and thanks for the fish.

If I were you I would get a nonO, extend, open a bank account and send money to Thailand. If you get SSB that can be deposited directly and not taxed. If you're really concerned find a cafe and use their wifi for your laptop. Get a solid VPN like Nord. So many people move to Thailand only to complicate their lives. Getting a lawyer, getting a fancy and expensive visa, getting married, having kids, getting a driver's license...why to any of it??
