  1. We've moved to a small town in Roi Et and I hardly use my ER6N. I used to ride with an MC in Chonburi but it seems those days are over. I need something smaller for going to work and wizzing around town. I'm considering a new or second hand CBR250 or a Honda Super 4. Any suggestions for how to find a decent second hand Super 4 with legitimate paperwork/green book? Is there a dealer in Bangkok that can do this and ship it out here? I see a lot of shops on the Motorcy site but I am not sure if they are trust worthy? I'd also like to know where to find used CBR250s. Thanks in advance :)

  2. I bought this guy's computer program (or was it an ebook?) a few years ago that had a money back guarantee. I didn't like the method the program used to teach the letters of the Thai alphabet and tried to email my comments/concerns bu they kept bouncing back with "email box full" or something like that. That was 3-4 years ago so the details are foggy. I cant remember how much I paid or anything like that. I guess I can't have my money back, can I?

  3. We just moved into a 1-story apartment and our water smells bad and is yellow at a close inspection. The landlord says his house uses the same water supply and is fine. He said it is because the apartment/piping is new and that is why it smells I dont believe him and I can understand if he doesn't want to buy us a filter. Anyway, I prefer to buy some sort of filtration system to get the yellow crap and smell out. After showering, I feel sticky. Not a nice feeling. I'm looking for recommendations for a low-end filtration system that will get the yellow and smell out of there. I've heard there are systems available for 2-3,000 baht? We don't use a lot of water and we wont be drinking it either. Thanks for all advice.

  4. I ride an ER6N. I like to keep it under 130km/hour most of the time. I'm interested in doing 1 -2 day trips on the weekends. I'm more of a listener than a talker and my little wife joins me most of the time but I am sure I can get away for solo trips here and there.

  5. I'm joining the club :)

  6. My work permit was canceled on April 6th. I got an email from my place of work 2 weeks later notifying me.

I have not been to immigration. Is it safe to assume that when I leave the country on Sunday, they will be aware of my canceled work permit?

The extension of stay in my passport says June 6 is the last day and it says I have a Non-Re, whatever that is?

  7. Assuming you're back on a visa-exemption.

You can convert to a 3-month non-o stay at immigration (2000 Baht IIRC). There are qualification requirements (marriage or of retirement age I believe).

I've never heard of this. You're saying that on a visa-exemption, one can just stroll up to immigration and get a 3 month non-O if they are married? What paperwork is required?
