Buriram is special case, with a very special governor...

Yes alcohol ban still in force till the end of the month and no announcement made yet regarding end or extension!

And yes we have a very special governor, un-elected and self appointed, but he does own a nice stadium and race track.

So how will they distinguish between visiting tourists and foreign residents? Will I still have to automatically pay that embedded fee although I, a resident of some 30 years, hold a comprehensive first-class health insurance policy?

If you have PR, I would just assume you show proof. Easy enough.

When is it going to end in buriram???

As Buriram was one of the first, if not the first, to introduce the ban, I suspect it will be the last to end it.

I hope we may get some good news on the 17th when the second phase of restrictions are lifted.

I am not holding my breath, nor am I prepared to share my last case of Leo.

Will it be up to each individual province though?

However the final decision in each province rests with the local governor.

"General Somsak Rungsita, Secretary-General of the National Security Council, said that from the issue Liquors and spirits can be bought back from the store. But can not sit and drink in the shop Effective on May 3, which is expected on May 2, B.E., will declare all details again. Which the Ministry of Interior will coordinate with the provincial governor To understand the aforementioned measures And is the power of the provincial governor to consider and approve in each area again."

It is reported that 65000 baht a month is being donated plus covid 19 insurance for all at the centre clothes, bikes, building and maintenance cost have been met and that a full time live in cooks wages are being paid and that there is enough money to keep the centre until August 2021?something in the centres comments not tell true picture

Agreed. Something in this story does not ring true, either they are getting the donations you indicate or they are not?

There must be TV members on "the ground" who can enlighten us a little more.

  7. I have the sticker, it is attached to the front of my Pink ID card, it was issued by the Phu Yai Ban. If I had not had an ID card it would have been attached to the outside of the back cover of my passport.

It is similar to the stickers on products, it cannot be removed in one peice and reapplied. However removal would be simple without damage to the passport.

As for how the system of entry/exit for the Province will work I have no idea.

I was informed that should I leave and return to Buriram I would be required to undertake 14 days quarantine at a local facility (not at home which I did after returning to Buriram on the 19th March).

Also informed that the alcohol ban will not be.lifted on the 1st May.
