Well I for one prefer it this way. I don't have to drive whilst looking continually over my shoulder.

Then you may find the Bangkok-Chonburi Motorway Hwy 7 interesting. They do that all the time. Usually for unsecured loads.

I drove my daughter to school in Chiang Mai last week.

 

A car veered to overtake me on Sapahn Mengrai just outside the hospital! He stayed up against my rear bumper until I turned right along Charoenprathet. A policeman was standing on the zebra crossing there as the car whizzed past me over the zebra at at least 65-70 kms an hour. It went into Montfort Junior School. He didn't even blink.

Buy two or three thin balaclavas wear one, wash the other every two /three days or so in the shower.

I have an open face Shark and wear glasses. With a balaclava the helmet slips on over my glasses. 😎 Which is of course why I wear an open face one and not faff around with glasses.
