Only if your insurance covers the cost of car rental. You could sue the other party but I doubt that will get you anywhere.
I'm thinking that if your insurance covers the cost of car rental the body shop will give you a "loaner" and add that to their bill to the insurance company.

I don't know if this is relevant to you but a semi can use a bit of engine braking.I have no idea of autos.

Both auto and semi-auto us a centrifugal clutch to pull away from a standstill. On both, this clutch will disengage below its threshold rpm. So the scoot needs a minimum speed to keep the clutch engaged when going downhill. Any difference between the speeds of the two types will be a difference in the lowest gear available. Auto have a slightly higher low gear than semi so will need to go a bit faster downhill to keep the clutch engaged. On my scooter above about 18 kph.

^ Flash will wrap it for you also. Just take it there. I sent a mocy exhaust up north. Not a problem.

Rang them this morning, seems I have to courier the item at my expense to Samut Prakan, there is no official service centre in Pattaya. I was hoping that someone knew of a repair shop that serviced all brands, but I think for peace of mind it might be better to send to the dealership.
There is a Flash Express drop-off point on 3rd Road by the LK President hotel. They have wrapping material.

When you use a bush wacker you blip the throttle rather than just have it on full all the time.
You have been living in Thailand/Asia too long.🤔

I don't know what all the fuss is about. It is his country and his money. He can do what he likes within the confines of the law as he knows it.
I'd probably do the same.
He has loads of cars. There are guys on this forum with 3 or more motorcycles. They can't ride them all at once. There are probably guys on this forum with more than one woman. It is their life and their money.
I've heard that proper Brunei citizens can fly virtually free on Royal Brunei Airlines. Not a bad perk for all citizens.
Healthcare is virtually free in Brunei and if the care they need is not available they are sent overseas (wiki)
Again I don't know what if any of the fuss is about.
To top it off. As a fellow royal, he'll probably be invited to have a beer here as well.

This is the worst kind of crime and leaves people disfigured for life. The "assailant" should be hung up by his thumbs and left to die.

That just indicates static car battery voltage
Which one can use with a chart like below to gauge the charge-holding condition of the battery. Agreed it won't tell the starting performance but will give advanced warning of deterioration. Will also indicate the charging voltage output of the alternator.
If one needs a USB converter/charging point it might as well also have a display.

Does Mr DIY also sell trickle chargers?
I doubt it. But maybe?
Your first choice of charger looks OK.

Also, go to Mr. DIY and buy one of these. It will tell you the status of your battery.

I wouldn't hire a foreigner in Thailand for anything.
I was told once that if I was going to get cheated/screwed, et al in Pattaya the chances are better that it would be a "farang" rather than a local.

I watched the first episode of Monsieur Spade. It moves at my pace and being set in France the scenery is OK as well.
