try to remember this. In the USA, 220 people die every day of the flu. This is 4 to 5 times the world averge. did you do the math? Yes, it is 80,000 a year and that number is increasing year over year. GOP and Trump do nothing about it.

what countries discriminate and even hate foreigners the most? Is it USA and England? I lived for 6 months in Russia. they would seem to be number 1 but they have few foreigners living among them. ... and few visitors. I did see 2 black men in 6 months.

the wounded may need it a lot more. when we read x dead and y injured we think more of the dead. trust me, the y injured may have a miserable life in front of them

in 2018, 80,000 Americans died of the flu. No one knows this. the GOP covered it up because they know their health care for profit kills people. in any case, so far this is not a problem. even those who got it were treated and released. Americans had probably 200 die of the flu yesterday. (Note: 80,000/365 = 219). Where is the news about this? Bad health care in USA caused by the greedy GOP. Poor people have no money for care. That is a major crime against humanity.

the % in this article seems quite wrong. 1% of the world population is about 80 million. maybe I missed something.

how soon we forget that USA had 80,000 die of the flu in 2018. not much was written. USA health care so bad and expensive the GOP surpressed the news in general.
-
before you panic, the USA had 80,000 citizens die of the flu in 2018. No panic, no lock down, little news...just bad health care from a 'for profit' system. i.e pay or no service.

Thailand cannot ignore the air quality and expect tourism to increase. The air must be clean but they also must invest in more tourist type of activities. Good luck. The business people of Thailand must work together to fix the air the problem. they can start with the government. They cannot simply sit back and ignore with expectations of 90% occupany.

my brother wa a great driver at age 10. he later was a race car driver. at 12, I assume he drove well but....this is the problem.....at a young age one mistake and it is all over. my brother made mistakes but lived. play the odds and wait for young people. yes, some can drive well but letting them by themselves, no seat belt, etc. the odds are against them

Drugs are a world wide problem. probably will get worse before it gets better.

The great lesson all visitors must learn...this is not your country. Things can really go wrong for you if you violate the law...and you do not know even 1/2 the laws. just do what is right.

why do so many think this problem is only a Thailand problem Here is a USA number you can chew on...In 2017 there were 12,900 people ended up in hospital emergency rooms with injuries from fireworks. repeat...12,900. Many also died. I am sure the rest of the world had similar numbers. I am also sure they did not try to find the sellers.

Young people, motorbikes, drinking. It is that simple. The rest seems to be below normal accidents. many are probably in rural area. not much can be done. the numbers would probably be the same in any country that had a large rural population along with huge motorbike usage and young men/women who seem to drink a lot because...maybe....their frustration with life on the farm. more house parties might help with adults not allowing them to drive home. more police at bar exits. ok if they have been drinking but when they mount a bike...bingo...test them for DUI.
I am trying to be sympathic with the life on the farm for young people. How can they enjoy life and keep from hurting themselves and others. That should be a huge focus. Parents can help but they are also limited in what they can do.

Normally the number this year are compared to last year or even the last 4 or 5 years. Also, most deaths are motorcycles ages 18-25 but it seems different this year. how about a detail comparison? that would show progress or the opposite.

When I teach people to drive a car or bike the first lesson is 'STOP'. Stopping is critical in driving. When there seems to be road confusion ahead be ready to stop and understand the situation. STOP. Yes, that sounds very conservative but drivers any place in the world can get confused quickly. Also, some drivers in the world can be extremely bad drivers. obviously, the truck driver does not adhere to my principle #1. (I hear some of you saying do you really need to stop. Answer...no, but go very slow until you know the situation better).

this problem seems easy to fix but it gets worse. I mean...where there is fire there is smoke. Your trying to tell me there are fires that cannot be found? how much does it cost to have planes dump water on fires vs opening health care facilities which are not cheap plus the long term health issues inflected upon the people.

this accident was a lot more complicated then what it seems. I can understand her feeling of 'not guilty'. A complete investigation might show some results that are surprising. One piece of evidences is how easy the 'wall' crumbled. many more pieces of information.

the reported amount of unpaid medical bills was first reports as 100million bahts....a very low number. since first reported, this number has climbed by a huge amount. I think it is a good idea to require health care insurance. however it would be nice to know the correct amount. it would seem to be a small amount per person in the risk category. Again, it is an ok idea but I now need to see how per month this is going to cost. the insurance companies need to make a profit but how does the health providers get their bills paid?

I have no idea what is happening because the prices are way too high. I think people who own condos should get 1 year visa and easily renewed. why not change the retirement visa to age 0. what is wrong with that. they report every 90days and renew yearly. hummm. sounds too farang friendly

by the way, it is still flu season in USA. That means 220/day die from the flu or pneumonia caused by the flu. that is 80,000/yr. that is USA only. the rest of the world have cloudy numbers. i think around 400,000/yr.
So what is my point...world health care is not as great as it should be based on the multiple trillion$$ spent on it. it seems that God has locked away the solutions. The doctors need a breakthrough. And while your at it, what can you do about my bad back other than another pill...555
