No, the temporary office in Bangkok. I've been here on a 30 day stamp since March. No extension, unless you include being stamped back in after a trip to KL.

I went Thursday with the wife and they wouldn't see me without the letter. I don't have one because the Australian embassy have refused 3 times to issue one because I didn't arrive with an onward flight booked hence they don't consider me a tourist and don't care about the consequences for me. The immigration people told the wife it was easy and I should just ask for a letter. She naturally believed them and not me and we had a big row in the car park that passes for an office.

I was using Linux mint from 2009 until a few weeks ago, but was having a lot of wifi issues on this PC. I installed Kubuntu, and find that I generally prefer how it feels, but still don't have reliable wifi.

Whoever buys them will be taking on a major IT mess. The Thailand office failed a security audit earlier in the year and it turned out that their local IT staff let their security go to hell. Now those people have had their access removed and it's being managed from the UK, but the mess will take at least a year to untangle.

Well done Liverpool, and well done Adrian. Chuffed for him.
I'm glad he's fallen on his feet. He was always popular with West Ham even though most of the time he was obviously not really up to it. The FA Cup penalty v Everton will long be remembered rather than the soft goals and defensive mix-ups...

Maybe you need to learn how to count.
I can think of 4 and many other bars that have Katoys.

Really? I like to know which ones..

I think I paid 11k in 2015 in Bangkok, and that included the UK embassy fee. They even supplied 2 witnesses to come to Prakhanong council offices.

I like this stuff. Didn't come in big bottles unfortunately, so I was having to buy the 500ml bottles instead. Which is exactly the situation I have found now I'm back in the UK.

Sint Maarten is also the location of the border between France and the Netherlands.. That might come in handy on quiz night.

Many people wanting to travel to London in this forum use LDN as an abbreviation.Should they ever buy a ticket there on that assumption, they will end up at Lamidanda in Nepal. A little dirt strip by a village in a mountain valley.

I believe the 747 is still coming. They might leave it until last as it might get slightly in the way..

I've never experienced anything like that in the UK and I have tons of stuff I would rather they didn't look at.

Shame Noble didn't have a bit more talent. He captained England at all the lower levels, but never made it to the first team.

He says that America now has the lowest unemployment rate ever regarding African-Americans.
Is this true and how did they achieve this?
He didn't achieve it. It's the result of the efforts of his predecessor.
Same with all the other things he is happy to gloat about. He's been lucky his entire life. Right place, right time. Still happening.

I've stopped going, but I like Moyes so far and hope we keep him. We could have a decent era under him.

So how's Zaba doing? I read a half season report which said something like his legs might have gone (which is why he moved on) but his spirit still inspires. Hit or miss so far?
Hit. Our best player early on. Has given some free kicks and at least 1 penalty away, but I guess that part of being a defender.
Hart on the other hand..

They should have hung onto Big Sam.
No no no ..
I know we were better under him, but his departure was a relief for all.

Solid? 3 goals conceded against Newcastle and Bournemouth. Far from it.
I mean generally we look better and more organised. Under Bilic we were constantly in a state of chaos at the back. Hart didn't help either.

I'm quite enjoying him being with us now. We were looking like Stoke are a few weeks ago. Now we look fairly solid. Get some new faces and get rid of some dead wood in January and we'll finish mid table.

I found Ao Nang quiet and pleasant when I went (October 2013). Didn't encounter any scams or bad food etc. Neither were there any bothersome ladyboys, taxi/tuk tuk drivers or tailors. It was just nice. Maybe high season is different.
Stayed at the J Hotel. Good, but no lift.

In answer to Alfredo's question, I miss all posters who help keep this forum interesting and worthwhile reading; I'm even really missing my old man chicog for the same reason
What happened to him?

The question you should be asking yourselves is why is it your players can play with such intensity and commitment because they are playing us and then turn into a shadow of that at other times? I'd be furious, because they must be hiding, lacking in commitment to their club. I've watched West Ham this season when the players just haven't turned up. Yet, after fridays derby you see what they can do when they put their mind to it.
The question you should be asking my pikey friends is why don't they at the very least give that 100% to the club week in week out?
That's the eternal question in football, and not something I can do anything about. I just enjoy the good times when they happen. And putting a spanner in the works for you monkeys' season - again - is always a good time.
Last season was better overall. We had a decent season. The big clubs were all poor. Spurs were good. Leicester of all teams were even better.

If it's what I had, RLE, they use a laser to break the lens up. Had an interesting light show of points of light in a kind of Paisley pattern, ending with a translucent brown mush that used to be my lens. Could feel the heat, but it was bearable.
7 years later, this year, I wen't back and had the secondary cataract dealt with.
From age 5 until 46 I wore glasses and was terribly long sighted. ow at 53 I can see fine.
This was in Prague, so I can't help with a clinic.
