  1. From Swampy....

Highway 7 towards BKK for a couple of kms

Highway 9 (bangkok ring road) towards min buri / bangpa in (can't remember but NORTH!)

Highway 1/32 follow the signs to Nakhon Sawan, Chia Nat is approx 60kms before NS

    Approx 2 1/2 - 3 hours drive

  2. Chap that works at the same company as me who has been here 30 + years used to work for the Thai finance ministry and was asked to do the Thai road signs etc in English as an extra job so people could actually pronounce the Thai word correctly but as nobody offered ANY extra money he didn't..............

The only road signs I've seen in Thailand so far that actually reads in English how it should be said in Thai are 2!

  3. I don't find it a drama on the highway better than a others not as sure footed as a Jazz/city in the price range but close feels alot better than yaris/soluna and march that I test drove. Its the wife's car so mainly used for short trips around town. But I've done Nakhon Sawan down to Hua Hin/Bkk/Pattaya with out any dramas a few times.

Overall pretty happy with the car and the service from the local Mazda garage.

I have a company car and are hopefully going to get a new one in the very near future!

  4. Work are just about to order my new 'company car' this week, which was chosen for me (not really worried as I'm not paying and it fits the bill of what i need and require!) - 4 door 2.8 Colorado LTZ

    Anyone on here got one?

    What's it like?

How long did it take from order to keys in hand?

    What freebies are on offer?

    Thanks

    H

  5. At my house in the centre of Nakhon Sawan the mains water pressure has become increasing LOW..........................

All of the neighbours house's are the same.

The house / rooms are all at ground level.

My thoughts were to install a small 1000-2000 Litre tank with float switch on the water inlet, raised above ground level and let gravity do its job rather than install a pump.

    Any thoughts...........

  6. About 220B ish taxi from Swampy to Victory Monument (century - Suzuki car garage is next to the mini bus station) then mini bus to NS about 200B ish is what I have done in the past, buses run every hour and you can book the seat - if your not Thai sized get the front seat next to the driver. approx 2 hours 45 mins journey but depends on what time you leave Bangkok and its traffic
