Derogatory post removed from view. Please do not infer that a skin tone determines your social standing. It could be miss-interpreted as racism.

This is the second topic I have had to call for public calm.
Those who insist on bickering and starting a flame-fest will find their posting privileges arbitrarily removed.
Please debate in a civil manner.

I have removed some posts that are quite insulting to Buddhist people.
Also, would everyone else settle down a little, stop bickering, and get your point across in a civil manner.
Thanx.

Some of the answers are in the linked web page above.
And since most, if not all, of the "legal" steroids require a prescription, I am closing the topic here to prevent talk of illegal activity which we cannot condone on Thai Visa forums.

Am I recalling this incorrectly, or didn't the EC, those responsible running an election, advise Pheu Thai not to hold an election on that date?
And Pheu Thai decided to ignore this advice.
So would that not make them responsible for the outcome?

If the author of the book has indeed used the photo without permission I hope the court throws the book at him.

Branch manager Napachara Makhumlek said a farmer's rage over the rice-pledging payment was less likely as the branch had only 800 farmers awaiting payments worth Bt55 million. What sort of logic is that?
It only takes one pissed off farmer to pull a trigger. So what if there is 800 or 5000 waiting?

You are in Bkk? Poi Pet is probably the closest.
Poi Pet is about a 3 1/2 hour drive from Bkk. Quite easy to get to. So yes, you can do it in a day, assuming you can get your paperwork completed, but it is a long ride.

Sgt-Maj Manas, a former officer at Prachacheun police station in Bangkok, was arrested while delivering 1.2 million methamphetamine pills and 5 kg of crystal methamphetamine to customers.
All in a days work.
Wonder if he has been sentenced yet?

As to the OP, once again, outsiders are trying to impose their own idealogical society processes on something as complicated as Thai politics.
Absolutely no idea and hence should keep their traps shut on a situation they have little comprehension of.
"One man one vote." - Sure that means something in the West, but to many Thai's that idea is almost as foreign as a McDonald's cheeseburger.
What ARE you on about? Thailand is a democracy and democracy is a method, not something that can be attributed to ideology in any way, shape or form.
Rather than re-read after posting I have held off while having a spot of breakfast so as to consider what you have said. Oh right, you don't consider Thailand to be living under a Democracy and to that I fully agree, sorry.
So, after re-reading your post, you appear to think "democracy" should have an exact blueprint/formula that is to be used by every country/state/province/region around the world?
Democracy is what the participants make of it. Not something that is forced down their throat by others.

Duplicate topic.

I have removed a defamatory post along with a post containing references to the Royal family. Please do not bring the Royal family into a political discussion, period.

Please post only one of the same topics. You can add a second question to it (location) if you like.

ASEAN summit: Leaders urge 'peaceful solution' in Thailand

Not like Hun Sen is un-biased at all.
However, it is probably a good thing that ASEAN members make a break with usual protocol and take a position on the Thai political crisis, massive corruption & destruction of the local rice economy with regards to Thailand's contribution to ASEAN and the global community over the next couple of generations.
