  1. INCOMPENDENCE and CORRUPTION

The Thai Peoples Democratically Elected Government should now be asking questions as to why the PAD were not firstly asked to move from parliament house and secondly why they were not forcibly moved by the Peoples Police Department.

The Military should also be held accountable for inciting PAD to stage a long term Civil Disturbance, especially as the Commander of the military asked publically for the Prime Minister to stand down and for Parliament to be dissolved. By him asking this he gave the impression that he was on the side of PAD. The Military work for the elected Government not the other way around. No he should not be sacked or transferred; he should be stood down pending the outcome of the investigation not only on what he said, but for his non action in helping the Government and the People of Thailand.

Any Government officials, Police or Military found to be negligent in their duties should be held accountable for their actions and this should start at the top.

Anyone found to be negligent in their duties should be stood down from their post without pay pending the outcome of the investigation. (Not transferred or demoted)

If found guilty they should receive a minimum sentence of 2 years, have their pensions withdrawn and in more serious cases where they have accepted money have all of their assets seized and put into internal revenue.

PAD officials should be charged for inciting political and civil unrest, they have publically recruited their own army and by doing this have condoned the killing, maiming and serious assaults on hundreds of Thai people. Further to this they should be charged under the Terrorist act for taking over the Air Traffic Control Tower. This could have resulted in the loss of life of hundreds of tourists from all over the world, this is an International Terminal and by it being International it has a sovereign right for safety of every citizen of every country in the Customs/Immigration area. This would be like attacking the Chinese or Russian Embassy in Bangkok, it would not happen would it.

It hasn't stopped yet, now there is a state of emergency, let's see how they handle this?

    Probably with their usual incompetence!

  2. Well the big block of dirt across from me is now Tonys 24 hour market, I cant imagine what this is going to do to parking and traffic around 3rd rd and Pattaya Tai area.

He is calling this Tony's Bazaar - only problem is that he has about 1000 flags flying that have the word misspelled as "Barzaar" - you would think that someone with his background would have proofread these before hanging them. If they charge Thai prices then the small stalls might do ok- like the nakula market and the on on Soi potisahn but if they try and overcharge they won't last long - i go to the gym there 5 times a week and parking is already tight

Proofreader say Naklua not Nakula and Photisan :o:D (sorry could'nt resist)

  3. I'll come out of the woodworks tonight.

I could be tempted to come and watch you "coming out"!!!!!!! :o

:D mamanoodle how could you........ :D

Cos you did'nt notice it was ME signed in and not you when YOU posted it!!

  4. Had the misfortune to be driving down Pattaya Tai when hubby anounced "fuel light has come on need to go to this garage", some employees are obviously aware of the scam as the lady who served us was almost dramatic in her pointing to the pump for us to see it was clear, luckily for us no scam on the one, and probably only visit here, although the few pumps I could see(craning the neck a lot to check about past posts here, no scams visible, we may have hit on the honest shift!) or maybe only one bad apple as they say.

  5. I have spotted one for sale...no idea of condition or cost. Drive up Soi Siam Country club. As soon as you spot the Big Armchaair on the left take the next immediate right turn pull over stop car. Cross road and you should be looking at it.

  6. Could give the Lotus Crystal factory at Rayong a try, they often have decent ranges at good prices and usually a sale Oct/Nov time. There is also a kitchenware shop next to Foodland on Pattaya Klang looks to have a good selection of dinnerware, although not looked at it in the shop only spied it through the windows when passing.

  7. Cum on guys and gals my bbq is tomorrow lol.

Bought bulmers in Tesco for our barbeque, bout 86bt I think, after affects of todays bbq also sell in villa and friendship. :o

Oops, just looked in fridge and gaymers! sorry.

  8. Read on MSN Malaysia considering kicking out present leader, know nothing about politics here, but maybe this, coupled with the

Thai "invasion of troops" at the Cambodia temple could have them thinking is afoot? Better the devil you know scenario!

Oops just had a thought there, maybe they're telling fibs?????????? and it's a big trick!!!!!!

  9. The one you can see from the seaside bars and restaurants along walking street, although you need to squint really hard to make out it's unlight form(last week when we were there and tried to point it out to friends doh!!!!!!!!) obviously saving the leccy money to pay for it! :o

  10. JESUS CHRIST, this thread amazes me. Lots of bloggers who don't know anything, just want to puke their bad opinion. Please do that in the beer bar where it is appropriate. In this forum I think you should hold on to facts, spiced up with some personal opinion.

Don't ANYONE understand this project will become a landmark, a Pattaya icon and one of the best investments ever in this area.

It will help Pattaya become an even more high end community together with all the other brand names allready built and soon to become. Be happy this fantastic building is built in our city.

If you need some true and real information about this project, I have it but I will not discuss this matter with a born pessimist and possibly anarcist.

Just learned that Pattaya have been voted #1 Sin City in the world. Project like this will get Pattaya rated much lower in the future and I, for one, desire that progress.

'Scuse my ignorance, but what is an anarcist?

  11. Hi All

My sons looking at renting a house for his new wife (and some of her family) in Pattaya for 6months to a year.

He is away abroad a lot and is looking for somewhere which has three bedrooms and is secure.

What roughly should he expect to pay in rent and does any body know of any places he could look at?

He will be out in Thailand again at the end of June for a few weeks

    Thanks

I can recommend a very good agent with lots of houses to choose from. www.orestone.nu

This link is useless, comes up with naff all
