  1. Lad will be dead in a week trouncing through the jungle.... this has to be a joke. :o If so poor how can the lad post on TV???

Where's your sense of adventure? Let's encourage the young fella to keep trolling. A splendid example to young people everywhere. Head south young man, Head south

Yeah, right into the crossfire at the very south of Thailand. Oh! and Pattaya can really do without him thanks very much!!!!!!!

  2. I am also a registered nurse(psychiatric) and sometimes read this forum but only post when I feel I can help, but only things that I am certain about, and know I can be of assistance to the poster of the query. Also I have gained a lot of good advice from this forum, and agreed with many qualified posters answers, and would have given the same advice if I had more confidence to do so, or had gotten in there first on a certainty.

  3. Most UK jumpers choose bridges(google it). Not many blocks of flats, as they are known in the UK have baconies, and the OP report is he FELL, given the low balcony walls here, plus a few beers an accident could be a possibility. Whatever the cause it is a sad waste of life, and condolences to his family and friends RIP.

  4. Yep haha lot of my male colleagues in the UK (I would definitely know if it was'nt a female) fell for my pics of these types!!!!!!!!hahaha. Wish I had taken pics of a lot of the other obvious copies out here!

Post above the last one is one referred to!

  5. Soi and neighbours dogs used to crap outside our gate I have used bleach(DUCK RA2), ground pepper(large bags very cheap in the supermarkets) and also small mothballs, but not at the same time, with good effect, it also stopped the neighbours cat from crapping within our outside house area. If all else fails rat poison in rice or other food is a permanent solution!!

  6. Wow Raro, you got a new wardrobe to fit in with the Pattaya "In(OUT) Crowd. We had fpv business today and had quiet F&C and few beers in Berts before going for early night home. Also have busy week ahead but Friday 14th ok so should be back with a vengeance!!!!!!!!

Mama & Begsa(ps Raro no new wardrobe outfit please!!!)

  7. The wife an me came back from the Uk 9 January 2008 after xmas and new year there.

From the time we got off the plane we were stopped 3 times before we went throught the nothing to declare lane. All they were interested in was did we have cigarettes? No. What do you have in this bag and that bag and the next bag? We had wine and other things but no cigs.

They seemed rather frustrated that we had no cigs! :o

Just on what others have reported here, I'm guessing that you flew via the middle east between Thailand and the UK? Would I be correct in guessing that?

It seems that Thai customs (inside the airport), and then Thai excise (outside in the public arrivals area) are targetting people who are flying into Thailand via Dubai and other places in the middle east.

The reason being, people are stocking up on favoured UK brands on the first stop over in Dubai - say 10 cartons - flying to Thailand (and not declaring them), leaving Thailand via Dubai where they stock up even more.

Upon arrival in the UK, they have 20 or 30 cartons of cigs which they then flog off in the UK and less than the going rate. 30 cartons at a tenner a pop has paid for your airfare out to Thailand!!!

We had one report in the past where three of four old fools got fined 1500 quid all up and then had their ciggs confiscated!! Given that the fine is approx 50 quid a carton, they would have had thirty cartons between them!! I guess they were hoping to pay for their trip out here. Silly buggers.

Yes flew via Dubai, and targets seemed to be anyone with duty free bags from there. Load of Russian/East Europeans drunk as skunks with a hand luggage trolley full of spirits and a case of Carlsberg lager they cracked open, cans scattered everwhere, and they proceeded to drink their way through the cans waiting to pass through immigration. No interest in them by anyone other than the trolley lady because they wouldn't let her take it back!!!!!!!!!

  8. DHL is the best to/from the UK since their network is better in Europe. They have a shop in Sunnee Plaza in Pattaya. Any other shop with a DHL sticker in the window is just a drop-off location.

I use FedEx to/from the US since their network is better in US and LatAm.

    Both trackable on the internet.

Thipp plaza 2nd road is probably correct location, we sent package from there to UK, excellent, fast, track online service but expensive, gives time and name of receiver. From here took only two and a half days to NE England.
