Kurnell, has yours developed that annoying knocking sound?
No,but it has a whirring sounds for the first 2-3 km
On start up pour a little water on the fan (poly-V) belt. Keep your fingers clear , if noise goes, replace the belt.

I heard somebody announcing in another thread that cars are designed to last about 8000 hours..
On a serious note, if you change the oils more frequent than specified your ride could go on for ever, providing the electronics stay good and the injectors have a cleaning aid in the fuel. Shell V-Power fuel has this aid.
Many years ago I heard that the on-board computer did have something to do with that.

That is interesting re Krispy Kreme and Canada. When they first opened in Sydney you could see people at the airport carrying boxes onto planes going to places without the stores. Now I don't think there are any shops left in Australia but I could be wrong. MacDonalds has been shamed into introducing some healthier options in many counties but not Thailand. Vietnam has it's first store....owned by the son of the PM

Still in Australia. Melbourne Airport, Sydney Airport, near Spencer Street station and a bunch in Queensland.
There is no shame in any food. People eat what they want. McD's do not hypnotise folk when they walk in the door do they. My wife eats bugs. Her decision.
I was going to go to BurgerKing for lunch at the airport, but remembering this thread I decided to go to the foodcourt, and had chicken curry and rice noodles. It was fowl.

Oddly I was thinking about a Whopper with cheese today cos where I am there is nooooooooo BK.

Hope you change the timing belt at the correct mileage. I have forgotten when it is, either 100 or 150,000km.

I think they look a bit daft, in LOS they are only to show folk they driver is a rich guy. To me a plate should be ''lost'' as they are an eye sore regarding the overall look of a ride.

Must say thank you to some guys above who know me and my life. Perhaps ''Mr.Average'' is a real eye opener to ones thoughts about the OP, imagine having a ''friend'' like him in your life. Noooooooooooo thanks, I think.

A wife is no more a friend than any one else when she decides to do something else. I have the T-shirt from a 25 year relationship with a lady. We were two peas in a pod. worried about each other all the time, then suddenly.......BANG..........she wanted to do something different and our cuddly love disappeared, went up in smoke.
Same as your health, you or I do not know whats around the corner.
Sorry if I sound grim but it is reality. I have been there.
so true. one day you love each other, the other day you can ask yourself how did i ever love this woman.. surprising to me still. No matter who you are with , firends, someone you just met or whoever at the moment, cherish it for what it is now and keep it as a sweet memory when it has past by. that way you never have to be dissapointed when it does
May I add, that lady in my post was the love of MY life, perhaps still is, l don't know, BUT, my point is in reply to the topic, do you (REALLY) have any friends.

I met one of my best friend here three years ago. At the time i had a gf who was cheating on me with him and was cheating on him with me. When we realized what she was doing, we met and wanted to kill each other. But then we finally agreed that it was the girl fault. We went to a bar and get wasted and we are great friends since then. And really happy this girl cheated on us or we wouldn't have a chance to meet haha Sent from my GT-I9300 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app
Your friend is not your friend now or ever has been . Why, cos in the first place he would NOT have fooled around with your lady. If you have a problem with my words then you have a problem. Getting rat assed with your ''friend'' did not fix anything.

One of my rules over the years is that .... there is only love..... So, I hope to heed my advice and invest my time in those that truly love me for who I am and limit spending my time invested in those that will only slow me down on my search for happiness.I have found that happiness in my best friend ..MY BEAUTIFUL WIFE.
kevvy
You really should leave wives out of the equation. You can trust me on that, don't care how beautiful they are. Beauty means absolutely nothing, what matters is whats between the ears and that changes with time.

2" is pretty easy. Going 4" may make it necessary to change the suspension control arms, the steering rods on each side or another longer Pitman arm. Plus a myriad of suspension changes including special aftermarket shockers.
Yep, 4 inch will be expensive as lots to be replaced.

You will never know who a real friend is until or money is involved. Sadly.
BUT, they are out there, difficult to find, but they are out there.

I think it is often a matter of needing the tastebuds readjusted.
People who get addicted to salt, sugar and oils will often consider foods not containing big quatities as tasteless but if you actually get rid of these foods from you diet for a month or so and then go back and try and eat them you will find that these oil, salty, sugar laden foods actually taste dsigusting.
This is a load of crap. I have been eating almost nothing but vegetables, fruits, nuts, brown rice and small amounts of fish for almost 2 years, but every once in a while I will have a few fried eggs, dark chocolate, some chicken or a pancake with butter and honey and they taste GREAT. People like oil, salty, sugar laden foods, because they taste good.
I know what you're saying but I think people can tweak their palate to get used to different flavor profiles over time.
, rubbish, ask any Thai to give up Chillies or Pok Pok, they would rather die.

Dear Gentlemen,
I think the topic that you have been discussing is interesting but if you are only thinking of who pays the bills why are you married or live with your partner? I understand that some of you live on pension or whatever it is called but does marriage means only for sharing bills? If it is hard for you why don't you just live alone?
You must also knew before you got married that most of Thai women are looking for partners who can support them. Don't tell me that you never knew it! If you just can't support them why don't just live on your own? If it's a doubtful topic and makes you unhappy why don't just leave everything and be happy alone with your money?
