Does anyone reading this thread know if the Mylink GPS map can be set to display in English instead of Thai?

I went to Chevrolet this afternoon, they order the second key in Bangkok, also the owner booklet, if i understood well they are waiting for the car history too? The GPS and every thing on the screen they cannot put in English because of the unknown password. They will do after I'm not sure why from Bangkok :-)
Were you ever able to change your GPS to English?
I have a Colorado that only shows Thai on the GPS map, but everything else is already in English.
I can find no settings to change the map to English.
It's the factory installed sat/nav system called Chevrolet MyLink.

^^^ I bought a new KZ1300 in Florida for $3995 in 1980. Later I paid another $400 for the matching fairing.
It was absolutely a very big water buffalo! I did blast away from a CBX1000 on it one time.
Both bikes were very rare back then.
Here I am in Florida in 1982:

I went to the local Yamaha shop to see about NMax yesterday. Was told that there is a promotion going on right now. 72K baht out the door price. So I went ahead and ordered one, as there are none in stock in this area. In fact, I have never even seen an NMax in this far NE part of Thailand where I live. But the price was too good to pass up, and I have been thinking about buying an NMax since they first came out. They said it will take a week or two to get the bike. I will post again later as to whether the price of 72K holds true.
I ordered the grey color.

And no big bike is as quick also.
I have owned many big bikes in my life.
You are right about that.-

I drove a Tesla Model X for 5 days last week in Florida and it is an amazing car. The one I drove was a P100D. A 76 year old lady friend loaned it to me. Less than 2 months old. I have never driven anything that is as quick as that car. Not even close. I now believe that electric-powered cars will be in everyones future. I certainly did not think so before driving it. Is it worth the price? (About $150K US) I don't know. But I am very impressed.

Just within the last two weeks they (DC) issued me a multi entry non-oa visa.
I mailed it in from Florida and got it back 8 days later.
Leaving for Thailand today!

The GT125 comes with mag wheels only.

That is not the same bike we are talking about in this thread. The bike in this thread is just called Yamaha GT125 which is available new.
That bike in your picture is Yamaha Mio 125i GT, no longer available new. Not the same as GT125.

"Harley-Davidson is building a new plant in Thailand, reflecting the industry’s push for global sales growth. The iconic American motorcycle maker was part of President Donald Trump’s focus on U.S. manufacturing in the early days of his administration. Executives visited the White House in February to meet with Trump, who thanked Harley-Davidson “for building things in America.” But even Harley-Davidson had a manufacturing footprint overseas, and the Milwaukee-based company says the facility in Thailand will improve its ability to serve markets where demand is on the rise."

Sent from my iPhone using Thaivisa ConnectThe latest report is that Peter's Pitstop and Steve's place are both closed for now.
I am still in Florida for a few more weeks so I am unable to positively verify this information.
Anyone local to BKL area that can verify these closures?

Yamaha Jupiter/Spark (115cc) vs. GT125
in Motorcycles in Thailand
Posted
My vote goes to the GT125. I have had one since they first came out and it's a very good bike for the money. Good power and handling. Top speed 96kph GPS.
The flat floor is useful for stacking two 12-packs of water. Couldn't do that with my Wave. The Spark/Jupiter bikes are very similar to a Wave.
