A light 400cc twin to fit between the CBR/Ninja300/R3 and the CBR500 and 650's could be nice.

Ninja 400 @ ฿196K to ฿205K fits into that slot nicely.

But as far as the 150 class is concerned, I would take the Suzuki GSX-S150 over the MSlaz or the CBR for myself.

All of my previous Suzukis have been absolutely bullet-proof.

It's just a shame that Suzuki shops are not as easily found as Honda and Yamaha shops, particularly up here in the NE.

  2. Be aware that the motion detection feature may trigger every time a motorbike or car passes by at night, depending upon the location of the camera, even if the car or motorbike is not visable. Just the change in lighting is enough to trigger it, in most cases. My house is close to the road, so motion detection does me no good.

My 6 camera system runs 24/7 and records to a 2TB hard drive. That allows me to view back about 2 weeks in the past. I can also view past and present from the internet.

Depending on the time of day, your wish to ride in BKK traffic and your nav. skills and the fact you do get a bit of a break. The Wat Bang Nam Phueng Nok motorbike ferry is still running. 13.682603 100.586718 . Agreed it is a challenge to find it but it takes you straight to the end of Bang Na-Trat.

This is the OPs best bet, unless they want to drive through downtown BKK.

I used this ferry, about a year ago, and it was only about ฿15 for crossing.

And like VocalNeal said, it brings you out just a few blocks from the Bang Na-Trat expressway.

  4. My bad.

2160p is actually 4K UHD according to Wikipedia

Technical terms aside, the programming that I am seeing on my system is absolutely better than 1080p HD.

I am extremely happy with DirecTV Now, even though it costs more than what people are paying for their fiddly Kodi content.

Yes, I know. Many people are paying nothing for their Kodi content.

But it doesn't bother me to pay the price for the simplicity, quality, and program selection that I am getting from DirecTV Now

And they are not selling fly-by-night, bootleg programming. It's unlikely that they will just disappear and leave me searching for a replacement.

I had ilikehd before, but they changed some things when they went to HD Prime.

Also, they are showing mostly UK, rather than US versions of the programs that I want.

And how long will it be before HD Prime disappears and (maybe) reappear again with another new system?

I don't need to have hundreds or thousands of useless channels that some websites are offering.

I now have every single channel that I was searching for, and they are all included in my basic-level DirecTV Now subscription.

  5. On my LG TV, there is an "info" button that will show me the resolution. My laptop is hooked up to my 4K LG TV via HDMI. It's possible that it is not really accurate, due to the indirect source of the internet going through my Chrome browser and then being fed into the television, but it absolutely looks better than 1080p.

PS  for Americans::::  is there a station that shows Basketball??

I am watching college basketball right now in 2K resolution on ESPN and also on ESPN2 by way of DirectTV Now using  a VPN.

Beautiful picture on my 4K television.

I was only looking for a few channels that I like to watch and it just so happens that all the channels that I want are on the cheapest version of DirectTV Now.  No Kodi box needed.  I am watching on the Chrome browser with Windows 10. Very easy to use.

DirectTV Now is not so cheap, ($35/month for 65 channels) but I am willing to pay the price because I personally find Kodi to be too much of a pain in the rear to use.

So far, every channel has been 2K resolution. NBC Sports channel is a part of my subscription so I am able to watch the Winter Olympics also.

Everything claiming/purporting to be a "scooter" has to be compared to this design concept (styling, frame/body configuration, engine/drive configuration, wheel/tyre size and type) to justify the name.  Actual engine capacity is irrelevant and just being a step-through/underbone small capacity motorcycle with larger diameter "thin" wheels and tyres (which is what is mostly seen in Thailand) does not qualify.

But many people will call a bike of any size that comes with an automatic-type transmission a "scooter".

Never  saw the need. Too high a gear - change down. Too low a gear - change up.

Can't change higher - you are in top gear. Can't change lower - you are in low gear.

Who cares what the number is.

I have to agree. A gear position indicator is not something that I have ever wanted or needed.
