There is also a step through model (and the useful hook) "Lead" with larger storage than Click (gas tank in front). Only comes in 125 I believe.  Never tried it.

The storage space being much larger on the Lead 125 is partly due to the 10 inch rear wheel. Twelve inch on the front.

The Click has 14 inch front and rear.

Larger wheels work better for the many bumpy roads in Thailand.

  2. I have 2 Hisense 4K TVs and a Hisense fridge.

    Everything is working great.

Bought on Lazada from the Hisense store.

    Hisense prices are very competitive.

    Worth checking out.

No, we weren't. However I said: "Today's ICE represents 100+ years of evolution - but it's still basically 100+ year old tech".

The 100+ years of evolution may give 178bhp/l but an ICE is still at heart a 100+ year old technology - some method of mixing/compressing fuel and air, igniting that, harnessing the explosive energy and disposing of the waste gases.

The first car to exceed 60 mph was an electric car in 1899.

The EVs are also 100+ year old tech.

    So what is your point?

  4. Does anyone know of a streaming service that would allow one in Thailand to watch the Turner Classic Movie cable channel?

It is available on Sling but for some reason Sling does not like my NordVPN. So I cannot even subscribe to it.

@Issanman - this guy always gets quoted by EV haters. He never has anything positive to say about any EVs.

We have already discussed the the Dolphin and MG4 and the consensus was the MG4 was the better car.

This guy clearly hasn’t even see this car in person or he would have posted his own pictures not pics that he found on the internet.

Are we really supposed to take a reviewer seriously when they haven’t even sat in the car!

I have seen this car in person and can say that it’s very roomy inside far more so that an equivalent sized ICE car as it has wheels at the corners.

I posted it because it was a brand new review that seemed relevant to this thread as the Dolphin is one of the models under discussion. But it did seem that he was only comparing the specs without having a car.

My personal opinion is that everyone should buy Teslas.

They are actually very cost competitive, even in Thailand.

A very good friend loaned me a Tesla Model X P100D for a week while I was in Florida. I'm a believer.

Full disclosure: I own shares of Tesla stock.

I switched from an OA visa extension to a pensioner LTR this past January, Once you have the LTR visa you are not required to keep any money in the bank. When you are approved you make an appointment with the BOI office. The Immigration office across the hall handles the switch from the OA to the LTR. They do check, in the LTR application process, that all your immigration requirements for the OA visa have been met. Then you get approved. On the day of the transfer you do pay a non-refundable fee of 50,000 baht. The insurance required for my OA visa extensions satisfied the LTR health insurance requirement but note that I think you have to have 10 months remaining on the policy. They stamped canceled on my most recent 90-day report receipt. If you remain inside Thailand for a full year then you have to check in with the BOI office. I don't know what that entails but I can guess that it is the equivalent of a 90-day report.  I am visiting the US next week so I won't have to do this 1 year report until a year after I return from the US. One of the LTR benefits is that I don't need re-entry permits to travel out/in of Thailand.

I just moved to Sisaket province and as a courtesy I checked in with the Sisiket Immigration office to let them know I was here and that I had an LTR visa. They had never seen one before.

As a pensioner with LTR, are you permitted to work?
