In certain circumstances, yes mate, but that all depends on how Broja returns. He's been away a hell of a long time but, back to his best, he would frighten the life out of central defenders with Jackson doing the 'Nkunku' role. What a kick in the b^&%$ks that is not having him in the team.

West Ham have hit the ground running and are ultra confident now. Antonio is a beast but, I reckon their days are numbered and will finish outside the top 6, which won't please Mr. 555555. Their midfield is as slow as me (correction...I am quicker than Ward -Slouch) and isn't good enough, especially that Rice has now gone and the chance that Paqueta will disappear in January, plus their wing backs are dodgy.

I agree. He was never good enough to nail down a regular place so shouldn't be made vice captain. Thiago would have been my choice for this season.

The transfer window is out of the way, the international break is upon us before away to Bournemouth on the 17th. A handy couple of weeks for some new players to get integrated in the squad and get to know what Poch. wants of them. Also some important players will return after injury. We needed this after the mess up we made of the Forest game. Some players like Enzo and Caceido will be travelling half way around the globe, so might not start against Bournemouth, but we've got plenty of options in midfield to begin with. It should be an fairly open game against Bournemouth so, a bit more room for our attacking players to move around in, unlike the Forest forest! Madueke has to start.

Yeah, very competitive in that forward/midfield area.

I'd definitely prefer for him to see a psychiatrist Keith!

Cole Palmer just arrived, who I like a lot, some outgoings on loan and permanent deals, and that's us done and dusted for this transfer window. The squad is unrecognisable from the one last season, with the average age down to about 12. I'm sure Pocchetino buses them back to school after training. I will not be amused if Cucerella is loaned to United, especially after Lewis Hall went to Newcastle.

Luton weren't too bad. I think their problem is, they've got two or three players that are not Premier League class. Their midfield and wing backs are decent and they've got a centre forward who's as tall as a block of flats. Big danger at set pieces.

Yeah, Colwill is a cool customer on the ball. He can only get better learning from the Master next to him.

A must win game against relegation candidates, even this early in the season. Sterling is hitting his straps now and playing with confidence. Caicedo fell over a few times but got better as the game wore on. Enzo and Connor were good again against a nippy, pressing midfield. All in all, hands and heels performance. I particularly like the work rate and pace of Jackson.

An annoying, frustrating game against a team that were organised and packed their midfield. A harsh lesson to be learned for our inexperienced defence, that in the Premier League, you get your tackles in early rather than shadow playing and dangling a foot out when it's too late. Also, far too languid in in our attacking intent. We've got bundles of pace in the team now, so use it. By far the best display by Sterling since he's been at the club.

James is top of the tree but, as you say Keith, Gusto is a more than adequate back up. Cucerella and Hall are quicker than Chilwell. Either will step in seamlessly.

Drury thinks he's the Oscar Wilde of sports commentators, waxing lyrical at every opportunity.

A dodgy opening period where we looked edgy, tentative and a hairs breadth away from going 2-0 down. The fact that we escaped added new impetus and the team moved the ball around with renewed confidence. Another draw against Liverpool but a promising performance, especially in the second half where we controlled the game. My man of the match was Enzo. An interesting battle for dominance in midfield with McAllister who is also top class. Sterling put in a shift for once although, by the 70th. minute, he could hardly walk. Yes, good reasons to be optimistic for the rest of the season.

Not me Jock. I'm absolutely useless on computer technology.

A bit late on parade but I'm in this season.

A good performance against a strong, confident Dortmund side. Lots of effort from the team that have a togetherness to compete for every ball. I liked the way we passed out of defence, with Enzo and Connor always offering themselves for progression to the wing backs and forwards. Pocchetino is putting his stamp on this group, who have that wide eyed enthusiasm about them. After their offside goal, I was looking for a reaction and we certainly got that.
-
Sterling was good at City. Explosive, off- the- blocks pace and bravery to take a player on. I haven't seen him do anything similar since he came here. He's playing in his comfort zone which is no good to us. Yeah, Pocchetino has done an excellent job in such a short space of time. He's added some much needed pace in midfield and attack with young players who are willing to fight for a place in the team. The kids coming into defence have also looked good.

Is that on True Vision Keith? Yeah, without Thiago in the squad, the average age would be embarrassing! Just graduating from nappie stage, some of 'em.

It looks like the world and his wife is after Caicedo, which is why Brighton are milking it but, at 100 million pounds? It's not my money so I couldn't care f*&^ but I think Lavia at 19 years old, huge potential and half the price represents better value. I've noticed a lot of the tabloid judges say that Kovacic going to City is a replacement for Gundogan! A completely different type of midfielder in my opinion. More dynamic in central midfield but isn't as good at passing as Gundogan and doesn't score as many.
-
A lot to get our teeth into Keith, and more left sided wing backs /defenders than you can throw a stick at. The difference is, Colwill can play central defence as well as on the left, which is why, I think, Koulibally departed. He was probably told that there was no place for him because of Colwill. Plus Thiago will be playing about a third of the games, so Colwill will have plenty of action, unless Badiashile has some stormers.. If anybody is going, it will be Chalobah, probably on loan. The area where we are overloaded is attacking wing backs. Pulisic, Ziyech, Hudson -Odoi need moving on while Aubameyang and Lukaku need to grow another leg to impress Pocchetino. It will be interesting to see if Sarr progresses and whether he will get loaned out. Business wise, I think we've done OK so far. I think it was in Kante's mind that, one of the reasons he went to Saudi is because he wouldn't be coming up against his beloved Chelsea!

Try the main city police station. Take your passport along as proof of identity and they'll sign and stamp the form for nothing.

Good luck to him if he wants to leave Keith He was good, sometimes outstanding but I won't lose any sleep if he goes. For a player of his ability, he disappeared too many times during games for my liking. when we needed him to step up. I don't feel the same remorse when Hazard left. I was inconsolable! This summer break will definitely revitalise some players that, at this moment, look guaranteed to depart, especially now that Pocchetino is confirmed. Who will they be I wonder? Apparently, he's managing a World XI in a charity match before he comes in in July.

An encouraging display by the team with the substitutions adding that bit more dynamism. Definitely had much the better of the second half with chances going begging. Judging by Loftus -Cheek's reaction, it looks like he's off to pastures new. A wasted talent in my opinion. If he had the same belief in himself, as others had, he would have been a shoe in at any club but, he just didn't have that swagger and self confidence that you need in his position. All the talent in the world. If he does go to AC Milan, I can see him taking the Serie A by storm. It will be a very interesting summer with Pocchetino running the rule over the squad. We've got three left wing backs so surely one must go? Young Harvey has shown what a huge talent he is and must stay (pity that he's not a yard quicker though) while I would have Cucerella over Chilwell. One man we must sort out is Felix. Get him at the club because he's got that pace and trickery that can open up any defence.
-
Not everything for sure, but the existing squad plus the Under 21's contain loads of talent for Pocchetino and his staff to get their teeth into. Pocchetino strikes me as someone who won't get messed around by the board, because they're afraid of losing face. Boehly's stated that he's made mistakes since taking over, so I don't think Pocchetino's hands will be tied in incomings and outgoings. On chances created, we should have beaten City yesterday. Granted it had the look of a pre season friendly, but it was still encouraging to see a bit of effort. How much are these carpet slippers that they play in? A monkey a pair? Maybe even a grand but players still needlessly slip over or the things come flying off after a tackle? These boot manufacturers are a waste of space.
