Stop belittle people, when the fault is at AIS side.
And again *170* Is a ussd code. Get it
"Foreign AIS customers can apply for the 100 free minutes by sending their passport number by SMS to 170"
..is not the same as:
"Thai subscribers can apply for the free 100 minutes of calls from May 1 to 15 by dialling *170*, followed by their identity card number, then pressing #."

You could care less? That implies you care quite a lot. You're an alcoholic? Or did you mean you couldn't care less?
Maybe learn to use the expression correctly before being condescending to people who are annoyed by their freedoms being removed.
Go easy on him, he's foreign.

Maybe 7/11. I'm normally stuck in the queue behind somebody paying some bill or other.

"Refused"?
Was the government beating his door down insisting he furlough them?

Uranus is more or less invisible to the naked eye.

A few months ago it was Venus plus either Jupiter or Saturn.
Now it's highly likely to be Venus.

What am I missing, the virus doesn't affect kids, yet schools are closed - why? Just part of the fearmongering or is there a genuine reason for it, hell if the kids can survive school transport and high speed motorcycle rides, sure they have no fear of a virus, or is there a pretence that they are being "protected" ????
Presumably they spread it, despite being asymptomatic.

why do you need a rig - there are plenty of sites on the web that'll give you the same info!
Because people like him have rigs, presumably.

I have noticed that all of the "thristy" types that are not happy about the ban do not bring up the fact that surely the ban on alcohol has reduced the number of drunk drivers on the road, which means less innocent victims....which at least cancels out the plight of the resident thai alcoholic who is forced to dry out for awhile in lieu of what probably should be a stint in rehab since they are even dealing with those withdrawal issues to start with.
Of course that would be common sense.....
I have noticed that all of the "hungry" types that are not happy about my proposed food ban do not bring up the fact that surely the ban on food would reduce the number of drivers on the road, which means less innocent victims....

So you actually saw the plane you posted or you are thinking/wishing it was that?
It could have been a crop-dusting drone. They are used for other things, perhaps some aerial surveying of something.
I've seen one, and more importantly heard it. Too high for a crop duster, and the wing looks designed for altitude. Having seen a large military aircraft doing laps of the superhighway a few years ago - presumably practising by targeting cars or some such - I'd guess it was doing something similar, though I suppose it could have be looking for gatherings.

I think I've seen one of these - are they surprisingly loud?

The right wing press would be having a field day. The comments section would be calling for blood and demanding that all foreigners be removed from the UK because they do not care about the health of the locals. I am not saying that this is right but people need to remember that hatred against immigrants happens all over the world. Looking at what happens in other parts of the world us white immigrants who live here have it pretty easy.
There wouldn't be a home made roadblock, and if there was the council would remove it promptly. The locals would be warned not to set up another one. The foreigners would not be investigated by immigration.

We've only heard one side of the story, and this speaks volumes:
"Disregarding all of that, the goal of the entire operation is to ensure the safety and health of us, a group of people considered to be at risk of contracting covid-19."

Loud music in itself I don't find to be a huge bother. What is bothersome is low frequencies. When I am in charge it will be illegal to possess audio equipment that can generate frequencies under 80hz or so.

I'm not a cooling expert, and I'm guessing it's in an air conditioned house, but if not could the motor need a longer cool down period in the hot weather? Feel free to shoot me down.

Not sure which would be more annoying - the crashing or the screaming.
