Resorting to "primal" hind brain machismo/testosterone antics while using alcohol as an accelerant, I see this all day long here.  Guaranteed to get those farang behind bars or bared from the Kingdom of Elysium.  So many older adult-children with their toxic maladjusted vices believe these young, sexy thais are going to perceive them as the second coming of christ...ah, yeah!  And I'm buddha! Most of these young girls don't care for us older farts with fat bank accounts.  They only want us until the cash is gone...no money; NO honey!  These young thais love their cash poor boys.  You and I are NOT going to change that.  Keep dreaming!

It amazes me that people think that this is confined to Thailand.

Alpha f***s, beta bucks has always been the way of the world.

If the booze banners get their way and there is no alcohol on sale on April 13 you can bet your bottom dollar that tourists will not only stay away, they will switch to Cambodia, Laos etc where they can have a load of fun.

The rationale for a booze ban is to prevent road accidents. There will be no impact because the residents who have a good stock of booze will continue to drive drunk.

Road fatalities halved when alcohol banned

Have you not thought that Sandy might be a male? :-

"Sandy is a popular unisex name; the male version can be a diminutive of "Alexander", "Sander", "Alasdair", "Sandipan", "Sandeep", "Sanford", or "Santiago," while the female version is a diminutive for "Sandra" or less commonly "Alexandra", Alisande, and "Cassandra"

For example, a well known Canadian born theatre organist who was poular in the UK during WW2 - Sandy McPherson (And NO - I do not think he was responsible - he is/was a different type of artist(e)!)

While what you say is true, it's more likely this was done by a male. Males take more risks, commit more crimes and are more likely to do something to prove their love on Valentine's Day.
