  1. TP1, why you would want to upload a 9Mb image is beyond me.

As a quick guess from bad memory the average monitor is 96 Dots Per Inch, when you resize a photo in software to say 1024 wide, the 240-300 DPI can not be contained within the constraints of the resized photos total pixel count.

This is why the cameras Megapixel count for people only posting online is Irrelevant, unless they want to crop in for extra zoom ability.

Fill the frame with the subject and I doubt you would see any difference between a 6 and a 36Mp camera.

I'd post a 1Mp downsized photo as an example but I'm not on my normal computer.

I'm not ranting BTW...hehe just had a few beers.

  2. If you have shot RAW or large file size your sensor is 6,016 x 4,000

    6,016 /300 (dpi) = 20 (inches)

    4,000/300 = 13.3 inches

    So 20" x 13" @ 300 DPI

    25" x 16" @ 240

    33" x 22" @ 180

At the size you want it, how near the observer is getting to the print also comes into play.

However if you have On One Software - Genuine Fractals plugin (now called perfect resize) you can enlarge it a lot more without sacrificing quality.

If you want me to enlarge it for you with 'fractals' @ 300, I will happily do so...just drop me a PM.

  3. Windows 10 is a deliciously good operating system, all things considered, but its abundant user-tracking has prompted many privacy-minded individuals to stay pat with older versions of Windows. Now, Microsoft’s providing those concerned individuals a reason to upgrade.

No, the company’s not walking back its privacy-encroaching features. Instead, Microsoft’s quietly rolling out updates that bake new tracking tools into Windows 7 and Windows 8.

    Yes, really.

The story behind the story: Privacy concerns have marred an otherwise sterling launch for Windows 10, which is already installed on 75 million PCs. Rolling out this Windows 7 and 8 updates amidst the controversy smacks of insensitivity—and it’s just plain poor timing, to boot.

Goto google search home page click the square box next to sigb in,,,it list maps, Gmail etc,,, click more at the bottom and click 'blogger' sign in and your away.

Its easy and totally free has webstats everything, don't click publish until you've previewed everything and are happy.

Another option is to install wordpress, you can create it all on your computer, but you will need to buy a domain name and web space etc..

Might aswell stick to googles blogger IMO, it does everything you need it to.
